Are there any artists who you used to buy the music of, or were fans of, but you went of them ?

Maybe they had a change in sound (started doing a different type of music) or just something else ?

I used to think Pete Doherty was an underrated talent.

Now I can't stand him.

Well regarding Britney, I've never been a die hard fan, I just like the occasional songs.

But looking at her songs, I much prefered the stuff she did earlier in her career, than all the robotic stuff she does now.

Just my opinion of course.

Westlife. It wasn't because Brian left, but i just had no interest in them or found their songs any good from when he left. I was a major fan in their early stuff.

Many eons ago I used to like Madonna. Don't anymore.

To be fair, everyone loved Madonna at some point. Her music after the 90's just plain sucked. I only make an exception for Hollywood, Revolver and Hung up.

I loved Duffy when she came out, now I think she sounds like a cat being raped.

Black eyed peas - I absolutley adore Meet me half way but i just find them in general really overated. I know that's a cheek coming from a Lady gaga fan and she is seen as overated, but the fact Lady Gaga is original in her own way and didn't need to change genre to get more sales. Black eyed peas were better doing r&b/hip-hop, not electro dance stuff. Boom Boom Pow is one of the worst songs ever. The lyrics are terrible if you actually hear them.

But hey, that's my opinion.

Sugababes - one line-up change too many
Darren Hayes/Will Young - Used to like them esp Darren - but now their voices make me feel quite ill

Will young - I used to like him too. Then i had a trip down memory lane and borrowed my mum's greatest hits. I never realized how boring his music was. I only really like one song from him.

Linkin Park - used to love them when Hybrid Theory came out but their latest stuff is boring.

Hot Chip - They've gradually been getting worse since "The Warning"

The Killers - Hot Fuss was great Sam's Town was decent but Day And Age has not one memorable song apart from Spaceman

The Streets - His first album was fantastic imo, the soundtrack to urban culture. second album was great aswell but his music just has nothing much to say now.

Dizzee Rascal - His first album was groundbreaking and intellectual, but now he's dumbed down his music for the t4 on the beach generation. Its a shame because I'd imagine that most people who hate him and think he has no talent are the same people who haven't heard his first album and only associate him with songs like Dance With Me, Bonkers, Holiday etc.

Kings Of Leon - still like them but their brand of rock has kind of blended too much in with everything else out. I'd like them to revisit that identity that they had with their first few albums that set them apart.

Noisettes - never really "loved" them but saw them live a few years ago and thought they were really good so bought their album and thought that was really good.. then their second album comes out with that really annoying "Don't Upset The Rythm" song. they basically sound like everything else out there now and its annoying that people think that they're a new band when they've actually been around for a good few years.

Eminem - Same as The Streets really, used to be fantastic, in your face, great lyrics great beats but now his music just sounds like rehashed versions of his older stuff but lacking any bite or hooks.

Sugababes (or to quote a friend; "the faux-babes" )
B.E.P
Avril Lavigne
Calvin Harris
Cascada

Love how my tastes have totally changed..
musicdude

I actually like Cascada's later stuff then their early. They are so underated now. Ok, Evacuate was a huge hit but their albums and singles released afterwards just bomb. Shame.

Used to love Lily Allen, I think I just kinda grew up and realised she's talentless.
Vampire Weekend. Loved the first album, 2nd one is rubbish.
Same with Hadouken.
Same with Kelly Clarkson, her new album is rubbish.
Loved Gabriella Cilmi's first album, don't really care what she has to offer now.
The Streets. They just used to be good.
Same with the Arctic Monkeys.
I used to love listenting to Blink 182, I never listen to them now.
Don't like Editors new album either.
So yeah, kinda happens me a lot ha.

Spice girls - Early stuff is classic british pop. But the Hollar album and the new tracks they did for the GH were just crap.
