This would be an unusual storyline which has never been tried on the soaps recently - Is it Chris's, Scotts, Cain's or Roy or Steves. Good on old EE for coming up with an original idea

Has any couple ever, in a soap, decided to try for a baby, and then surprise surprise, had one?

It seems to me that the writers are reflecting their own dubious parentage in their work.

Then there's the story where Zoe's parentage is revealed .. where Tariq's parentage is revealed ... Does ANYBODY in Eastenders have the parents they are supposed to have?

I'll second that...... Im completely fed up of these type of storylines, I just hope that the writers have more credibility and imagination to do something more intersting than the obvious 'whos the daddy' storyline.......xxx

Can it just be a normal thing, like she finds out she's pregnant at the height of her split and bad feeling with Alfie. She tells him she's pregnant for him and already devestated that he punched his pregnant wife and they're no longer together, she leaves Walford to have the baby. Apparently theres a maternal ward in Belinda's mansion lol

Please, not another "Who's the daddy?" storyline. Congrats and all that to Jessie, but no. The Alfie/Kat/Andy storyline is poor, to say the least. Introducing another *twist* will kill any possible love I still may have for EE.

Totally agree with you there!! I hope, if it's true that Kat is going to get pregnant, that it's Alfie's and make it all nice and simple.
