Ah ha, you've fallen into the trap of thinking that wiches were or are evil. They were the wise women who the church had to get rid of so that their new religion could take hold. The christians wanted a religion that was dictated to the people from above so it could be used as a social control rather than a religion or belief set that came from the people and was for the people. So in fact all you have done is prove that cat owners are not the evil ones and that to be anti cat is decidedly evil and opressive.

I love my cat - but I am not keen on all cats - some of them are mangy and look mean

My sisters 5 month old kitten is the most horrid kitten I have ever come across and has put me off ever getting another one!!

More pro-feline propaganda, started by Tom, Felix, Snagglepuss and Bagpuss to lure the gullible into a false sense of security!!

The truth is out there - did you not see the documentary back in 2001 .. 'Cats + Dogs'????

Proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Cats are only after world domination at any cost!

I quite like other people's cats - in small doses. Wouldn't want one of my own. And I'm not evil. I'm nice

But a puppy dog, now...

Ah, yes, you sound like my dad. My mom has been tormenting him for more than thirty years with an endless parade of felines. I do love my husband, and while I don't want to make him uncomfortable in his own home, the fact that his mother is allergic to cats is almost too much temptation for me to resist. Like I said, I'm evil.

I have two black cats, one is nearly two and the other is just over 1, both from the same mother . They are gorgeous , very very loving and affectionate to me and with each other , and hilarious when playing. I wouldn't be without them.

My Nan taught me from a young age never to trust anyone who didn't like cats

Now, if I meet somebody who like cats, I immediately warm to them
If they don't like cats, I am a little suspicious of them and it may take me longer to warm to them
If they say they actually hate cats ( or any animals) enough to do them any harm, then I think they might be evil and I could never warm to them, ever

Does it really matter if they want to take over the world when they are just sooo adorable.

Hate the ones that leave hair about too and they look evil sometimes when they give you 'that look'.

What can I say?

But watch out for the evil eyes. I think he's just seen a spider on the ceiling

I don't hate any animal (except birds but its more a fear of them ). I think having a cat is good if you live in a rural area or where there's mice about since obviously the mice don't come into your house (unless the cat bring you a gift). But otherwise I'd prefer a dog, they're more socialable animals, you can take them for walks and play fetch etc. Whereas cats just tend to sit in a chair by the fire/radiator or go outside.

Awwww how cute. He just wants to protect you from the evil eight legged monster.

Show some gratitude to your feline overlord.

I recommend tuna.

Is that cat ginger? 'Cause if I was gonna have a cat it would be ginger. All cats should be ginger actually.

He's a cream/red smoke Maine coon. His face is ginger, and most of his tail, and he has kind of ginger highl;ights in his fur. He's a cat for dog lovers. He comes when called, fetches things, rolls over on command, especially for brushing. He's a bit heavy for all this now though, 16lb at last weighing.

He likes that. You see, OH makes much more fuss of him in the mornings than she does me. Damn cats, and we've got 3 of the perishers.

My Nan also used to say that you should never trust anyone who doesn't like cats.

It is obviously not something that I have adhered to though, as my OH is not really a cat person, in fact he is a little spooked by them. Considering I have five .......

It is strange though, my gang could be out, or asleep in another room, or whatever, but as soon as he comes here, the cats appear and make a bee line for the poor man. It doesn't help that I sit here laughing at the look of almost comical horror on his poor face, as they line up to sit on his lap.

He is getting better though - he even managed to stroke one of them the other day.
