This is part of an article from the Daily Mail!

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...ance-show.html

Flamboyant, loud and at times repellently rude, you cannot ignore Jason Gardiner.

The 38- year-old dancer and choreographer has been on the panel since the first series in 2006.

He is widely disliked by the other judges for his knack of hogging the limelight and the air time. 'Everyone loathes him, he really is extremely irritating,' says a source.

I'm told that even new judge Emma Bunton, who is pretty saintly, is fed up with him now.

Gardiner has always liked to shock, but he caused uproar last month when he told celeb skater Sharron Davies she looked like 'faecal matter'.

Karen Barber says: 'There's a line and sometimes it gets crossed, especially by Jason.'

For his part, Jason admits that he has clashed with all the judges, particularly Nicky Slater. 'He does blabber on,' complains Jason. 'Witter, witter.'

The only exception to this fractious atmosphere is the relationship between Jason and Robin Cousins, whom he admires.

'For me he's more accomplished than Christopher Dean.' says Gardiner.

Only he could give a compliment and insult a colleague at the same time.

I agree with this. I couldn't stand Ruthie. Get rid of Jason and then I'll be happy.

That's damning with faint praise. Being better than Ruthie is not saying much.

Actually I'm finding it very easy to ignore Jason. I have a fast forward button and I use it, I don't read newspaper articles with his picture next to them, I don't watch that awful Friday programme.

I'm finding the programme much better without the judges, the vts, the ads and all the other cr*p they're using as padding.

Me too. I don't understand the Emma hatred. I think she's pretty good actually!

"Hate" is a bit strong; I find her extremely irritating and would be quite happy to see her replaced on the panel, but that is a long way from "Hating" her.

I don't watch the Friday programme any more either. It isn't very good compared with the spin off from SCD which is very informative and well presented. DOI is not a patch on SCD and I doubt the BBC would tolerate Jason Gardiner's behaviour - especially slagging off contestants on Twitter and badmouthing fellow judges in the Press. I have had enough of this odious man and in future I will follow Sliver of Diamond's example and record the programme and fast forward through the vt clips, judges comments and the toothpaste adverts and any other junk ITV throw my way and just concentrate on the skating - after all the programme is called Dancing on Ice not The Jason Gardiner Show - and if that were shown I doubt they would get many viewers.

I've never liked Jason, but this year he has just been ridiculous.

He's a Simon Cowell wannabe, and he doesn't quite understand how to be like Simon, or have the perfect balance of softness and nastiness..
