Ok assuming Lucy does have the baby. The only outcomE I can see is that she will bond with the baby and decide jane can't have him/her leaving jane devastated. Surely after that jane Will have to leave the Beales.

Will she then be axed? I can't see how the story would go forward after that unless the baby dies...

If Jane Beale is axed I'll be very, very, very angry.

I think Jane and Ian are the best couple on the show and Jane is one of the better characters on the show.

I can see her with Eastenders for years to come and she's the only good thing to come out of the 2004 'Dragon Slide' disaster.

I'd rather not have this storyline if it means losing Jane.

Maybe she'll go psycho, Steven style, and shoot Lucy when Lucy reveals her secret....

Though honestly, I doubt they'll get rid.

If that spoiler is true, I'm glad. I think that if

and I just can't see where the story would go unless they're waiting for another 18 years for "You Ain't My Muvva!!!" Mk 2

The only thing I like about this storyline is that it has shown a lot more depth and maturity to the character of Lucy rather than her just being a teenage slapper or brat, plus it's proved that Melissa Suffield is a good asset to the show and has the potential to be of great benefit in years to come

I think this story is partially meant to push Jane into the arms of Masood! They both are in for some nasty stuff and I see them finding comfort in one another. Jane is not going anywhere!

There is no reason for her to be axed. She is one of the strongest characters. Peaople like Darren and Adam need to be got rid of first.

I hardly think if Masood wants comfort he will turn to the woman whose brother took his son down a wrong path and knew about it all along.

Ummm...Have you seen how close their friendship has gotten? There is great potential for this. And when things are going bad a person turns to friends and sometimes friends end up doing more then expected. This is a very plausible scenario! !
