If you were axed?
Say you are an actor/actress and you have been in a soap for about two years, because of falling ratings they have brought in a new producer to shake things up and you have been told you are one of the cast members to be let go and you were asked to sign a new contract because they want to do a big disaster to kill of a few characters.
Would sign the contract and go out in a big disaster and probably be rememberd for it or not sign the contract feeling like you should be kept on and leave in a taxi? I would choose the contract and my character die in a disaster because the chances are the character was s**t and i probably wont be asked back. |

Morbid as it sounds, I would rather have my exit be a tragic death which would be remembered, then be boring and leave in the back of a taxi.
No poor death though like drowning or something...it would have to be a car-crash or something epic... God I sound quite sadistic XD |

I would go in the back of taxi for unknown reasons in an ambugious type well. I've sorta done that before, minus the taxi. I would never resort to shows such as Ice and Strictly to get back in the limelight. I would actually see why im a shit actor, improve and then got more roles.

The chances are if you don't play a popular character to start with it doesn't matter if you get bumped of or not, as the prospect of getting work afterwards is still dim. You only have to look at the stellar career of Roxanne MckKee and Lauren Crace - who had an even bigger exit - to see how they didn't go on to bigger and better things afterwards. |

I'd go in the back of the taxi, and then the taxi would explode halfway down the road

I'd defect to a rival soap.

I'd go on Strictly Come Dancing and then a stint on the West End.

I'd rather my character have a fantastic storyline and be killed off at the end of it than a dull exit.
![]() ![]() I'd then do Strictly or Dancing on Ice...cause I'd love to do one of those shows!
