Funky Gibbon by the Goodies - wipe the vocals and its quite a funky little track! Bill Oddie was on TV a few years ago saying that they tried to make it sound like a Sly & Family Stone reject!

But if Midge was so annoyed about it why did he keep singing "this means nothing to me"?!!

If I was going to pick a top footie song it would be 'Back Home' by the 1970 England World Cup team, closely followed by Ossie's Dream by Chas and Dave and Tottenham FC

I agree with the World In Motion by New Order shout. Even John Barns couldn't ruin that song, hell it could be argued he made that song!

I'd agree with that.

I remember hearing this song only once many years ago on Radio 1 on a Sunday afternoon when Jimmy Saville used to have a weekly show called (I think) the old Record club-which was basically a run down of old charts from the 60s 70s and 80s.

Once heard never fogotten. I thought is was called 'you go to be a hooker'

So I searched for it on Youtube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0HHQ...eature=related

Apparently this is the 'cleaned up version'

I think we should start a campaign to get into the charts
