Rant away. But looking at what training and experience someone has that affects how well they can do in a tv show is very far from acting as if one "owns" them.

Celebs Twitters should never get that personal.”

Was Twitter there when Ray was in the competition?

I know there have been comments saying Hayley had already skated with Daniel but not sure how much skating she had done.... but someone called 'Mersinho' has posted a message about Hayley's friendship/skating with Daniel following an article about her....

By Mersinho.. Posted March 28 2010 at 1:59 PM. "She is a lifelong friend of her partner Daniel. She skated with him whilst growing up. She was never away from the ice rink with him.. To say this competition is fair...... is a joke. He's now a Pro skater, and she's a good skater. She's had a complete advantage over the rest of the contestants. I wonder if we will ever have a winner who was a complete novice when they started the show, then shone through!! ( like Daniella ) Doubt it very much. Not when they put in people like Hayley who, like I said have an advantage. Daniella was robbed."

We have already talked about this information last week, which we know is not true! Myself and others have watched Hayley give interviews on both This Morning and Loose Women and Hayley has told the story of how her drama school used to be near a ice rink and she would go and WATCH Daniel skating and was mesmerised by him. She also said that she had never skated herself until doing DOI, and it was a dream of hers that she had always wanted to do since being a child and watching Daniel skate all those years ago when she had a massive schoolgirl crush on him!

I think that the constant newspaper articles and lies that have been written about Hayley is totally out of order!

By the way, as much as a was a massive fan of Hayleys I was also a big fan of Daniellas as well and I dont think that she was robbed! I think that when Daniella came out on the ice on her own last week she was not very confident and Gary was way superior on his solo part of the dance. Daniella only got into her own when she was with her partner and last week was all about the solo part. Gary totally got through because he was the better skater!

Some people believe all they read in papers quite sad. It's not only papers that print lies some forums are just as bad. Take everything you read in the papers or see on the Internet with a pinch of salt

Noticed last night when it came to the final result that there was a LOT of cheering/chanting for Gary to win. Felt bad for Hayley to be honest, though I'm glad she won.

Perhaps if they had stayed at home and watched they could have voted for him
I am pleased Hayley doesn't have that audience shouting for her to win, they are an ignorant lot, shouting, booing.

I thought they were shouting for both of them. However, I had a glass of wine and my perceptual abilities went with each drop.

Plus forum's that think a celeb is like a bit of meat to be tossed to the lions. They're just as cruel as any newspaper. Perhaps the comments the celeb receives back shouldn't be personal as well?

It's the right way to enjoy the final (I assume you were referring to my drinking rather than the audience shouting both names).

A lot of the problems come from people being bitter for one reason or another against celebs or pros. I know on twitter a lot of people put fake accounts up just to have a pop. If they say what they want on public forums they may loose face so better to take the cowards way out.
I like to see real celebs talking to real fans. Ray was to up his own arse to speak to anyone.

Seems they can't win whatever they do. Ray's up his own arse because he doesn't speak to anyone and Hayley's wrong for responding to criticism.

I like both of them. In fact, I don't have the inclination to run any of them down and don't really understand why people can't just enjoy the skating and leave the character assassinations to Jason Gardiner.

Had Hayley been a 'good skater' to start we'd have seen far more solo skating from her, more difficult and of a higher standard.
