Frankie has posted on Facebook that her and Danny will not be doing the tour and neither will Frankie be appearing as a professional. Bit disappointed really as I always really enjoyed her and Chris's routines. Wonder why she's not appearing and what would happen if by some chance (long shot I know) her and Danny went on to win...?

I think Frankie had already revealed that somewhere else, though maybe they've just had it finally confirmed. Bit of a pity really.

I wonder what the story is behind the scenes.

Chris and Brianne sounds like it's going to be a fantastic partnership. But it would have been great to have had Danny and Frankie there too.

Kieron's now the only one of the remaining contestants that's never confirmed what's happening with the tour. I doubt he's doing it, but we can always hope - maybe a guest appearance or two if we're lucky!

I would imagine david Seaman put his foot down in case she starts another affair with a co skater !!

Thats a bit unfair on Danny. She is the same age as his mum, so he probably has the same respect for her that he would have for his mum. Personally I think Danny should go on the tour. No doubt some on here will run him down as usual.

Not a fan of Frankie but I must admit I am surprised she isn't doing the tour.

Can't see Kieron appearing as Brianne is skating with Chris so looks like the line up that has already been confirmed is the final one. Shame really, would have liked to have seen Danny and Frankie reprise their "Rocky" routine, purely from a skating perspective of course..!

I wouldn't be half as excited about seeing Chris without Frankie. I hate when original partnerships are broken up. I love Chris & Frankie!

d'ya think maybe she wasn't invited or maybe just wants a break - maybe the partnership with danny doesn't work.

i can't see her turning it down without a good reason unless maybe now she's 37 she doesn't have to work as hard and davids loaded so she probably doesn't need the money.

nah, surely even if she was only in the early days she'd not skate - its really dangerous if she falls esp with being lifted.

I got the distinct impression it's not Frankie's choice not to be on tour. But I could be wrong on that, of course...

I wonder if Frankie not being invited to tour points to her not being back in the show next year.

I hope not, I really like her and there are not too many British pros involved in the show so it would be a shame to lose one of them.

They may have wanted to just mix things up a bit for the tour this year. Brianne's been quite a popular new pro, so perhaps they just wanted a way in which they could include her, and Chris was always going to be the obvious choice for that given they were already friends. I suppose that still leaves the question of why Frankie doesn't skate with Danny, but there you go... bit of a mystery!

Can I ask a genuine question of those FMs who actually know about ice dancing? How good is Frankie?

I fall into the 'I know what I like when I see it and, in the format of the show, my vote is worth as much as anyone else's' camp, but Frankie's leg lines never look great to me and her moves don't always seem to be 'finished' in the way that Jason is always pointing out to the contestants that they should.

I'm not trying to stir up trouble, as I know many people love Frankie. I also freely admit that I don't particularly like how her personality comes over on the show. Perhaps that's why I'm asking the question - I'm wondering to what degree my dislike of her is colouring my opinion of her skating?

I didn't mind Frankie until she skated with Chris and kept on trying to convince us that Chris' hockey skating experience was no help whatsoever. That just annoyed me as of course it was a help. I didn't mind that he had the skating experience but I hated the attempts to cover up the fact that it gave an advantage.

Still she's been better this series.

She is a pairs skater rather than an ice dancer and I think that may make the difference you are seeing and it's maybe harder to look very elegant when you are tiny as she is.

I wasn't keen on Chris Fountain, he was a good skater but he lacked finesse, he just bounded about the ice like a big daft puppy!

It's not really the elegance that's an issue for me, but how 'clean and crisp' her moves are - or rather are not. For instance, a couple of weeks ago she was doing some backwards scissor kick thingies ( told you I'm no expert) where Danny was holding her round the waist, and her trail leg was far from straight. Mind you, my benchmark is Jayne, whose movements are so neat and precise. It's probably not a fair comparison for anyone.

frankie is a diva, maybe she'd not welcome

I think if you compare her to Jayne who is an ice dancer she will always come off worst.

Ice dancers spend an awful lot of time on getting clean lines and crisp movement and precise turns and finished moves and it counts for more in competition for dancers than for pair skaters so they spend more time perfecting those things.

I don't mean to be horrible but Frankie always looks a bit "rough" she usually has the skimpiest of costumes that barely cover her but she looks so much nicer in a dress or something more girly!
