Well, it is Gary's turn to skate last after all...

Daniella in the dead slot. Danny just about good enough to start. Two good people at the end and someone pretty good in the middle. Looks logical.

Well he can skate a bit ........and he's seen by someone as a contender for the tour and it can't be who it was last week and hayley has ben there a lot and seemingly Daniella isn't in favour..........

Would you be saying that if the one youy are supporting is struggling a bit and evey week is skating in the first half of the show

I think Donal might have skated in the second-last position once last year but, apart from that, he was nearly always one of the first. It didn't do him too much harm; he was the series runner-up, beaten only by Ray who was phenomenally good that year.

EDIT: I just checked. Donal's position in the running order each week in the 2009 series was:

WEEK 1: 2nd out of 7
WEEK 2: Girls' week
WEEK 3: 3rd out of 11
WEEK 4: 6th out of 10
WEEK 5: 2nd out of 9
WEEK 6: 2nd out of 8
WEEK 7: 3rd out of 7
WEEK 8: 5th out of 6
WEEK 9: 2nd out of 5
WEEK 10: 1st out of 4
WEEK 11: 1st for each routine (it was the final)

To be honest if I'd seen Hayley skate first last week and Daniella last I'd have thought it bonkers ... A great start that dwindled with each successive performance to a damp squib.

What would be the point of it. Apart from those that hate Hayley, I can't see that anyone would want to watch the best performer skate first .. it would make the rest of the show a drag.

Hayley did skate near the beginning a couple of weeks back ... and it was like a show that had peeked too soon. There was hardly anything to watch afterwards that was of any quality.

In the interest of fairness I'm sure she (Hayley) will have to take her turn .. but it will not come close to the excitement of her going on last for the 'Jai Ho' routine last week .. the audience knew they were in for a treat .. and they were.
