Is there anyone who doesn't think Hayley will win it?

Hayley is very good - I think confidence has a lot to do with it - the confidence to sell a routine plus the skills to make it look even better. She is very polished.

For me though, someone like Kieron - who initially struggled with the dancing/performing element - is a more worthy winner. I've loved watching his confidence grow this series. And his skating is strong - even coming back after that nasty fall.

And am I right in the thinking - the only person to take a full on tumble during the live shows this year - has been Hayley? I know Dan took the blame for it and it can happen to anyone at any time - but I'm quite impressed with all the skaters we have left in the semi-final.

Going off past experiences of reality tv!, nothings guranteed.

In theory, Hayley should win, she has been the most consistent throughout the show, and deserves to win!

But I just know that it isn't going to be that clear cut,

I think that the person who deserves to win is the person who produces the best performance in the final. Hayley is certainly capable of being that person, but having lead from the off, the others are now gaining on her, so I don't think it's as obvious as it was, and I don't think she deserves the win simply for being the best in the early weeks.
That said, if she's the best on the night, I wouldn't wan't her to miss out to a less-good performance because the other person was more popular, either. May the best person (on the night) win.

I don't think it was a very revealing test, because she was still 2nd with the judges.

“Final will be set up for her with Jai Ho being her repeat dance & the flying which will suit her down to the ground as she is right build & height and dance trained.

So in answer to the thread title I think Hayley will win.”

She won it with the Jai Ho routine which was for her the equivalent of Mark Ramps Salsa and Chris Hollin's Charleston. None of the others have really pulled out the same kind of showstopper...yet and we've only effectively one week to go. As in Day After Tomorrow, the time has come and gone my friend. It's a matter of holding the nerve now and not dropping the ball for one moment and she'll walk it.”

She's not miles ahead of the rest, especially not in skating.

It will be a travesty if she wins because of "Jai Ho" -- a routine that was almost entirely pick dancing and lifts.

I don't think Hayley is 'miles ahead'. She'll probably win, but I don't think it's by any means guaranteed yet.

So long as Gary doesn't emerge victorious, I wouldn't really have too big a problem with any of the other three (providing Daniella proves she can solo skate this week).

Though obviously, I'm definitely backing Kieron!

Hayley needs to get through the semi-final first remember!!
She's not in the final yet guys although hopefully she will be its still anyones game till then.
IF she can pull of the romatic/mushy number they have this week then all should be well to get to the final.

Her routine last week could be considered a romantic/mushy number (see scene from Butch Cassidy). That didn't keep her at the top, and there have been claims that the music worked against her.

So if romantic/mushy works this week, will it be because she has more stirring music?

Imo, this is a week when music and performance should take a back seat, and it should be primarily about skating.

Dan has commented that the music being all one tone last week and that there wasnt much they could do with it. This week its a power ballad so should be a good piece of music with a bit of light and shade in it and they did make a good job of Endless Love several weeks ago so hopefully this one will work for them.
