Hmm, not sure he deserved bottom on skating skills but other people had better routines and songs to be fair.

He's been rubbish every other week and still gets voted through, I wouldn't worry too much.

I still don't understand why people hate him, and somehow I didn't get the judges' marking tonight. It should have been in the fives, but don't forget Robin mentioned at the beginning that the skating would take a backseat (it was dancing with probs).

After Gary's performance i spent everyone elses saying be rubbish so he didnt have to be the bottom of the leaderboard!

Voting lots and praying Gary doesnt go!

Yeah thats what i think will happen as well! I really don't want Gary to go! And in fairness he had two props to contend with! He was amazing!

Hopefully all the Gary fans are voting for him he is not the worst skater but tonight he got given a pretty rubbish routine which he did the best he could with. Thought the shoulder lift with Maria going head first down his back was brilliant. Go Gary!!!!!

Do people really hate him? i mean really??? Hating him is abit harsh, but i personally don't enjoy his routines but i like the bloke. I'll be surprised with whoever goes tonight as they are all good now.

Don't worry, no one takes me seriously.

Thought he did really well with 2 props and awful music but I'm worried he really needs votes.

Just think how quiet this forum will be if he does go. All those anti-Gary posters will have nothing to say.

What is it about him that makes people dislike him so much. I think he is really sweet and love his partnership with Maria.

I don't think they do. He's not been in the dance off since his debut!

Personally, I like Gary, but I like the others more. They are a bit more animated in their performances.

Sid I apologise, hate was the wrong word, maybe "can't take to him" would have been better. He seems a nice chap, and skates well, so I'm not quite sure why people would want him out (however, to a certain degree I don't want any of the others to go either).

But he hasn't needed many votes. This is the only time is popularity is really being tested.

Anyway, a lot of hate seems to be on here but I guess that's the nature of DS and a few contestants get it.

I reckon Gary is more popular out there than he is on here and could well survive tonight!

If this was Big Brother, he's the type of contestant who I wouldn't vote out but nor would I feel inclined to vote for him to stay. I'm fairly indifferent to him. I think his routines are a bit too measured. He's never really brought the place to life.

He deserved more points tonight, i though he was good.

I know, and I understand what you mean with the measured performances. However, tonight I felt, he has been dealt an unfair card, and at the very least, he did skate.

I think everyone feels their favourite is being picked on. You notice it more when it's someone you like as you are constantly looking to defend them.

I don't really have a favourite this time round (I lean towards Hayley and Danny slightly but also like the others) and I've noticed fairly equal amounts of negativity towards all the contestants apart from Keiron who seems to be a forum favourite.

True but I'm not sure he can depend so much on his skating to secure high marks anymore as the others have improved in that department (particularly Danny). They have caught up and they're offering more in the way of performance.

I'd have put Gary above Danniella though. She would be bottom of my leader board simply because she barely skated at all, even though I enjoyed watching her in character.
