Why are they so desperate for steamy romps? It's not as if it's purely red top readers that watch the show...

I'm getting more and more convinced that I'm not going to bother to watch this year, if all they are interested in is steamy romps and titillation ffs

I don't understand why the producers keep saying they hope there will be nudity, sex, "steamy romps" when we already know they WILL NOT show anything, even if it does happen.

If someone strips off, or if there's any steamy action, we'll get chicken cam or front of the house. When have they ever showed anything? Oh, yes, okay...we had about half an hour of the naked girls in the bath in BB2, but then the producers got cold feet, and they cut to Paul and the others arguing on the couches.

Any steamy, sexy action will only be available on the DVD...

I too am worried that C4 is determined to get some 'steamy action' even if it kills the whole concept of BB trying.

I would also like to remind people, just what exactly could be shown on tv, s*d all thats what. Remember Jade and PJ's b**w job in BB3 they could have been doing anything under those covers and if anything did happen and they showed even the slightest bit of it on telly, then the authorities would pull the plug at the speed of light. Not to mention the fact that any 'coupling' would probably be alcohol fueled and not exactly either an all star performance or particularly indicative of anything remotely long term, merely resulting in a few days awkward silence for two of the HMs.

Hey it was much more tasteful than that.

I remember reading an atricle a looong time ago where an Endemol rep said he was dissapointed with the way the BB UK house turned out.

This house is the same as 2 years previous in Elstree.

The first one was in Bow(??) and I don't know what happened to it, teared down I suspect. Other DS'ers will probably know.

Oh rite, sorry I thought this was a completly new house built in a differnet location, I thought I remembered hearing on this forum that they would be building a new one in different location because of problems with noise and neighbours.

Don't believe what the papers say about Big Brother. They might be right about the pictures of the new house, but Davina was on Parkinson and she said that the show won't be about trying to get couples to have sex this year. She said the show will be about the contestants having fun, and if a romance develops then it's a bonus. A producer was on the radio yesterday and said the same thing.

They say that but they don't really mean that. The real proof came when Tommy & Jade had sex in the Teen BB House. The show was immediately given a night time slot (with lots of leaks from Channel 4 regarding the incident) whereas before it was destined for day time viewing only.

It was turned back into a nature reserve. Somewhere on the forum is a thread with pictures of it from a year ago or so.

The producers never say that - it's usually The Sun - quoting a "Big Brother source".

The house looks quite good this year - last year it really was just a set, but from the glimpses this year, I think it will add to the show.

Endemol said they were going "back to basic" last year...then they jetted a housemate off to south Africa and returned an evicted housemate back in...back to basics my arse.

BB5 will be about sex,sex,sex. Even the 'back to nature' wall paper makes it look like a backdrop to a nudist colony.

Either that or they will threaten to release a bengal tiger in the bedroom and a hippo for the garden mudbath, if they become too boring.

The background of the bedrrom is awfull maybe it will grow on me
the house does look a lot better from the pics i have seen so far.
