Steamy Sex romps - Is that meant to make people watch???

We've had FULL sex in TBB, so what's the point in pushing that angle in BB5???

Is this really all Big Brother has to offer???

They have seriously lost the plot !!!

The episode in TBB with full sex, even though it was promoted to the hilt, drew fewer viewers than the previous episodes. Clearly that isn't what the GBP wants.

The memorable bits from previous BBs were mostly the confrontations, the fights, the unexpected surprises -- like Josh walking into the house from the diary room.

I don't think the viewers want a few fumbles under the duvet. They want "real" people getting on each other's nerves, they want arguments, they want the unexpected.

Well said maggie. What we want are strong individual personalities having no other choice than being forced to interact with each other in the House in a variety of situations.

Well I hope Big Brother isn't planning to throw out any housemates who find the glass shower wall a convenient place to write messages to the outside world on when it's all steamy.
That's if they have chosen people smart enough to write backwards, of course.

Hold on hold on

Just take a step back here peeps

The line, What The Viewers Want seems to keep cropping up in various forms, ur all refering to urselves in the 3rd sense

Its what you, me I want to see

Im not trying to teach grammer and spelling here cos god knows i suck ass at both of em

What im trying to say is what you you want to see, formulate some ideas, opinions, im sure to hell at some point they will get the attention of Endemol

Stand, unite, ONE VOICE, its our Big Brother, we make it or we break it, this is my rally cry to everyone, What dya wanna see, what Dont ya wanna see

Didn't Davina announce on Parky recently that this wasn't what BB's objective was?

When will people here stop being taken in by the media? While the media may want us to believe Big Brother is a live porn show, the producers have never once suggested this.

QUESTION: Condoms or not? Should they be provided by Big Brother.

Maybe they should just put them in the weekly shopping list for free and see if anyone goes for them. It's not the producers fault if 2 HM's have unprotected sex if they've provided them with the opportunity to buy condoms.

Yes, they should be provided but not in a sense that 'OMG, YOU HAVE TO HAVE SEX' way. In the Big Brother booklet, which seemed to crop up in other Big Brothers, include something which says that if you need a condom or any other contraceptive, then Big Brother will provide those for you.

They have hundreds of thousands of applicants. Why can't they choose about 100 of them, and put them in mock houses for a week with other possible contestants (or even actors) to see how they react to other contestants. That way, they know that if there is an argument, Person X will go in there and shout their heads off trying to prove a point. With a budget of a couple of million for everything, Endemol could do this. Have the actors resemble other people who are favourites to enter the house aswell. So if someone who is a lock in for the house is a very camp argumentative person - have an actor play that part. It's simple. We don't need sex - we need more people like Nichola, Caroline, Brian and Alex who will entertain us.

Here's a good quote from the article:

A Channel 4 source said: “The auditions this year have been more exciting than a lot of the footage from Big Brother 4.

Well dur....

”

anything must be better than most of that lot last year

I hate the bedroom already. Why must they go out of their way to over impress. All we need is one house, 12 housemates and a bedroom that looks like it's inside the house not in the garden. I hope all these rumours are just rumours and that we get a show that is watchable.

I love the bedroom, its very different from anything we've had before and that's exactly what this series needs; a certain freshness about it.

I quite like the whole house actually!

The house is an important factor but shouldn't detract from the people inside. Any decor after a few weeks will feel like home to these people, I just hope we have some more interesting stuff to talk about than last year.

You'll know if its bad if we're still discussing the decor once the series has begun!

Think the C4 ident is more a coincidence actually - but it is one of the best idents I've seen!

At least this house will have a bit more of an identity compared to last year - but why does it keep getting smaller. They made it 25% smaller last year, and this year it supposed to be half the size again. Does that mean alot of space for secret rooms?

They say it's small to encourage cabin-fever and offer no escape, but surely more bitching and intimate action will happen if housemates can do it away from the others!
