I thought it was fantastic - superb acting on ice - but because there was so little skating (or even dancing) I think it would be a shame if it knocked one of the others out of the competition. I can't imagine that Daniella will have another performance that is anywhere near that standard if she stays.

I thought it was a great performance, and was pleased for her after last week.

Hayley's music was gentler - you can't really do a lot with that song. I guess if Daniella had got that song, she might have got lower marks; who knows?

I would like to see how all the contestamts perform to the SAME song - but that doesn't happen until Bolero (that's not a song, but you know what I mean.)

It was a brilliant piece of acting, a lovely performance but there was virtually no skating or dancing, so as a DoI performance it was very poor.

I mean, would we have all raved if David Seaman had come on the ice and produced a string of brilliant penalty saves? It's not about doing whatever it is you do in your day job well on ice, it's about dancing on ice.

It's a shame because the lack of skating in the choreography ruined what could have been a great routine from Danniella. I don't blame her, I blame T&D, but to top the leader board with that is a travesty.

Yes it was. That chair could have toppled over at any moment, it was all about controlling the balance etc. And it was a required element - if we want them only to skate then don't give them props, especially not props like chairs that are for sitting on. I've never been a fan of prop week because i think the props are a distraction from the skating but she did brilliantly with what she was given.

The chairs has always been difficult to control. Add wheels this time, making it hard. She did an excellent job of it, skating, dancing and performing.

Nothing against her, but I would like to see her doing some solo skating. The others all seem to manage it??

Think it was over marked no way only .5 off a perfect 6.

Agreed, 5.5 across the board was too much, IMO she should of got 5 across the board.

Great performance but overmarked as there was hardly any skating in it. Suzanne & Clare's routines with chairs had more skating content so it can be done.

When I was watching it, I was thinking... I bet people on DS are going to go insane about this. I was right.

I cant beleive she was scored higher then Hayley.

What was it about anyway supposedly a sexy secretary big deal.

I didnt see any real skating yet again Hayley had complicated lifts and much more SKATING content and she scored lower.

I dont get Danielle at all.

Yes and isnt it supposed to be called DANCING ON ICE, where did she do that then? I didnt think it was all that to be honest I preferred Keirons to hers.

It was a good performance acting-wise, but she barely put a foot on the floor - she was pushed and pulled about most of the time. It will be interesting to see how she fares next week.

Did anyone who is complaining about the routine not hear Robin's comment at the start of the programme?

He said that they were looking for the routine to involve the continuous use of the prop in a seamless manner or WTTE - Daniella's routine achieved that (apart from the big lift section in the middle), and from the VT - she and Matt really struggled with the chair in training - and Jayne hinted that Danniella had hurt her hip badly in training too.

I loved her performance - great characterisation and fun to watch. I totally understand how Jason and Emma, as the judges who look more at the performance aspect, scored it 5.5, but I was a little surprised that the other three scored it so highly.
