I don't think Gary was that bad, but the stronger performances of the night (Danniella, Danny and Kieran) were all given characters to play, Hayley and Gary less so.

I didn't see the skate off (was watching Wonders of the Solar System on bbc2) so I didn't see if there were any cock-ups but it's harder to determine between Celeb's when some are given actual Characters while others aren't imo.

I think he's a sweetie I've enjoyed his last two weeks performances.

What I like about DS is that so many posters seem to think that everyone must think what they think and get so riled when the public go a different way. And then go on and on and on about it.

ive met gary and he seems like a really funny cheeky chappy in real life wonder why hes not like that on the show. he genuinely does have a personality but never comes across as having one on here!

I thought the right two were in the skate off. Its all opinion after all. Gary was better then the other blokes and ended up with the lowest score from the judges. Thank god for the public not being influenced by bad judges scoring.

Am surprised that you can't vote in Ireland. I would have thought that ITV would be happy to get the extra money from the tele votes, especially as there have been Irish celebrities in all series except the first one.

I was very surprised that Gary wasn't in the skate-off and took a sharp intake of breath when the result was announced.

I thought Hayley's routine was the worst but she did skate it well.

Danny shouldn't have gone though but it would have been interesting to see the result of the first telephone vote and who the Great British Public put in first place - I have a sneaky feeling it could be Gary.
