Just read that Alfie is going to have an affair with Little Mo later in the year as jessie Wallace (kat) is going on maternity leave. can you believe that the producers spent ages getting these to together (even the wedding was touch and go for a minute) and now in less than a year Kat is going to sleep with Andy to pay of Alfie's debt and now Alfie and little Mo. Alfie and Little Mo
i thought from the beginning that Alfie and Little Mo would make a much better couple than him and Kat. All this 'affair' business is really depressing tho, if Kat leaves lfie and Little Mo and Billy aren't together any more, why does it have to be an 'affair'?
could be a good idea, billy finds out and turns back into the abusive billy he was when he 1st came into EE

Yes I agree its a bad move. Why does he need to have an affair with anyone and why can't Little Mo just get back with Billy. Think it will signal even more boredom in the Eastenders arena :yawn: :yawn:

I stopped watching EE about 2 years ago (after being a devoted fan from day one), and it's future storylines like this that convince me that I made the right decision. It reeks of paniced and/or lazy story planning.

Just a bit perplexed by the incessant need to slag off EE at every given opportunity. Not that I think it's great, but if I despised it as much as you do (along with your hate of the Beeb darlings!) I'd just ignore it! But hey horses for courses I suppose......
I criticise it yes because its bad at the moment. If you read some of my other postings I sometimes compliment it (not very often granted ) I thought the arrival of Alfie Moon into EE was a watershed, someone of was a bit of a jack the lad. Sadly he has went the same as the rest.

I'm pretty sure she comes back with a baby yes. The baby is born blind, well of course it is, it's EE isn't it. I'm not sure what to make of this Alfie and Little MO business though. I usually tend to wait an see how the storyline is played out on screen before I start slagging it off. But I don't know why the producers think this is a good move. The amount of time and energy that went into the Kat and Alfie, will they won't they storyline which basically bored me to tears was unreal. And the Christmas Day episode I thought was a nice happy ending for a change. So now are we to believe that there is no such thing as a happy ending in Walford? Maybe they're just together for one night and hopefully it's not a long affair. It would be really out of character for Little Mo to begin an affair with her sisters husband, ex husband or watever.

I think that this storyline would be a bad idea.....After the length of time that it took to get Kat and Alfie together, it would be stupid to split them up! How can the viewers be expected to believe that Alfie, the man who has done nothing apart from declare his undying love for Kat ever since they finally got together, would actually stray?! It would be completely out of character........
The reason that this relationship worked and that it was so popular was because they were both vunerable characters who had lived tough lives and had finally got through everything and found the love of their lives...... They faced a number of setbacks along the way, but in the end it proved that love can conquer all!!!! (I cant help being a hopeless romantic!!!
) Now they are just going to ruin the whole relationship purely because they can't think of anything else, and to pull in viewers....... What was the point in putting so much effort and time into getting these two charcters together only to have their relationship ruined in under a year?!...........xxx
