With Kieron in the skate off this week (after pulling out a show-stopping performance)
I like Kieron a lot but I would hardly call that routine 'show-stopping'

I over-exaggerated. It was better than Gary and Daniella's anyway

I think the point being missed is Gary can actually skate and on his own too! He just needs to make sure he performs and then who knows what will happen, he is the strongest skater of the final three - Hayley better watch out lol

I doubt this, considering Gary was in the skate off tonight.

And Hayley proved that she can totally skate on her own...she was beautiful !!!!!

Well he hasn't done this so far & I really can't see him discovering his inner performer all of a sudden in the final.

I love the way you phrase this as though it was something easy. As Tiger Rose says, for the main part he hasn't managed it so far and finals week isn't exactly the easiest week to discover your inner performer. He's got a flying routine in which he can't even fall back on his strongest asset and a routine he's already done and probably failed, in the most part, to extract the performance aspect from the programme. Gary's a strong skater. However, he seems to feel self conscious on the ice and seems incapable of letting go. His performances suffer as a result, his routines just don't match his skating skill and I can't see that changing in the space of a week.

I would not call Gary a strong skater. He tends to get simple routines because that is all he can do and they tend to involve a bit of basic skating.

I would say last night everyone of the others was as strong skating as Gary and perfomance wise they left him way behind

It probably will not be an exciting final as Hayley is so far ahead of the others. Gary & Kieron will be turning in performances you would expect in week 3 not in the final.
At least Kieron is pushing himself even if he does not quite pull off the perfomance. Gary is Mr play it safe. The same simple basic routine week in week out. I can see exactly where Jason is coming from even though he does go a bit OTT with his comments

I don't agree at all - the fact that Gary makes his skating look smooth and easy doesn't mean that what he is doing is easy, the changes of edge and speed he gets across the ice are very good.

Kerion on the other hand has shown exceptional performance skills but still isn't as good with the skating as Gary.

For me they are quite evenly matched because their strengths are different.

I can appreciate that Hayley presents her skating exceptionally well ... but I am more excited by Kieron and Gary.

I thought Kieron's performance this week was a step down from previous weeks. I think he was lucky to avoid the skate-off ... but benefitted (like Gary did last week) of being bottom and people voting frantically to keep him safe.

That said, I think we have the right final three.

His skating last night was far from smooth

I think any of them could win, i'd like it to be Hayley but you just don't know who the public will go for. Kieron should be second as Gary is so boring i totally agreed with Jason.
The thing is with Hayley always being top of the leaderboard (or second), we can't tell how much of the public vote she is getting, so i actually think the final will be exciting as any of them could win it.
