EastEnders Spoiler

According to reports today, Alfie and Little Mo have an affair! This storyline comes as a result of Jessie going on maternity leave because scripts have had to be hastily re-written.

This concept is sick and wrong. Who is writing EE these days?!

But lets be honest this just isnt going to happen. It's the soap rumour mill again. I douby Little Mo's first big storyline will be an affair with Alfie. As Kat & Alfie are due to split anyway my moneys on Kat going to "Belinda's" as thats where the Slaters always end up when they need a break!

Well, it's either Belinda's they go to, or "Cousin Joanne", whoever she is, and although they all seem to disappear to visit her, I don't recall her at either Billy & Little Mo's, or Kat & Andy's or Kat & Alfie's weddings. Strange how she is close enough to her family to be visited, but they're not close enough for her to be invited to their weddings.

You are talking about a soap where a mother doesnt visit her daughter when her fiancee died or come to her when she had a baby, i am talking of course about Carol Jackson. Oh and where a mother wouldnt visit her son when he had a major operation (Fererra mum), i could go on for days but im sure you all get the point, i love eastenders but admit i find more wrong with it every day. Oh and where michelle cant even be bothered to be with her family...right will stop now!!!!

That was because there could not find her.

Yeah but surely writing in a phone call saying that the mother was out of the country or something would be more believable than saying they didnt know where she was. If the writers have no intention of writing these people back into the scripts why dont they kill them off or have them emigrate? I know i sound like i am being really tough on easties at the moment but thats because it used to be pure class and now its slipping trying to become more sensational and only succeeding in making viewers doubt their capabilities. Look at when Eastenders was in its heyday, they never had all the sex and gangster storylines then and they did okay. They dealt with proper issues.

I don't know whether to believe this spoiler or not. It sounds like it was cobbled together on the back of an envelope in a taxi, but then so do all EE storylines at the moment.

Why would scripts have to be 'hastily' rewritten? I know they film 6 week-ish in advance but Jessie's not leaving for several months is she? Corrie seem to handle these situations so much better. I heard Jessie is having 9 months off, which seems extremely generous. Last time the actress who plays Sally in Corrie gave birth, I didn't even notice she'd gone!

If the Lil Mo/Alfie plot is true it certainly doesn't look as if the writers have landed back on earth yet.
