You sound like a perfect example of what the message of the video is all about.Gaga is just making a social commentary of today mass controlled consumption society.
Don't you realise every time you log into a computer your prefered sites are traced through sites like Google.This is a way of second guessing peoples consumer choices.Google actually make their money out of doing this.They use the information they gather to channel consumers & sellers in a particular direction to maximise the profits (& profits of their sponsors - sellers) they gain from advertising.This isn't perhaps total mind control, but it is getting very close to this.It's vertially finding out what you are going to do before you have done it or at least maximising the percentages of what your consumer choices are going to be.The music industry very much uses this anology in it's marketing strategy.

The Vigilant Citizen site states this in it's conclusion:-

I am not saying that Gaga is controlling your mind. I’m saying her video is ABOUT mind control. This disturbing theme keeps reoccurring in pop music.

The occult references in her videos are just a way of emphasising the messages in her video's in much starker way.It sends a message out in an extremist fashion - they are not to be taken literally - but there is a serious heart felt message behind it all i.e. The multi-nationals are trying to homogenise us to consume in a particular way etc.

Personally I am aware of what these large companies are trying to do & as much as possible try to resist them.It is difficult sometimes though, as far as everyday products because my choices are influenced by price.As far as music is concerned though - everyone has very clear choices in what they hear & eventually consume.Use that choice.You don't have to buy what the Major labels channel your thoughts to buy.Not sure how Lady Gaga fits into all this though.She seems to use these practises (dumbed down & monotonous hook laden beats - excapism from having to think) & opposes them at the same time (the lyrics, messages in her video's).

Why do you think it is a good video though?Is it because it has ever changing image's.Is it because it features alot of your 'Idol'.I'd really like to understand how you came to the conclusion you thought this video was Very good.Is it because 'I don't know, it kind of turns me on' - vague appreciation.

for a woman intent on atracting male attention she doesnt like men much or at least see`s them as a commodity for her use ,
which is a conflicting duplicit state of mind but one which a lot of woman can associate with and men can relate to from what they have experienced from woman taking guidance from such sources .

The article is interesting/amusing..but scroll down and read some of the replies from his "followers".There is some really frightening stuff from the far right of America..God botherers and other loony tunes.
Anyway, If LG is doing anything, it's warning people about consumerism and corporate brainwashing..they all appear too thick to understand that.
