Anyone had problems with BangCD recently?

I recently ordered Amy MacDonalds album... which then completely disappeared from the site, despite the massive £6.99 adverts plastered on the site.

Similarly, I ordered Goldfrapp "Head First" and Gabriella Cilmi "Ten" which have also since disappeared from the catalogue despite big ads!!

I emailed Bang CD this morning, and they've refunded both items (funds yet to show in account, mind you - but I know these things aren't instantaneous...)

I never had any problems before with them, but this really doesn't sound good to me... seems like they've been selling stuff without any guarantee that they have the stock?!
EDIT: http://www.bangcd.com/upcomingRelease.aspx?category=CD - look at their "Pre-release" section, I think there's something seriously wrong!!

hate it when online stores do that, always email them if unsure if they have it in stock.

Or sometimes use their online chat (if they have one)

BangCD are Singapore based, similar to CDWOW... they only have email customer services, luckily I've had a response as I've read elsewhere of problems before Christmas where people hadn't had any response back to emails.

Used BangCD loads of times so am surprised at recent events! They can take a while to deliver but haven't had any problems before - just wondered if others had similar experiences of them??

Never heard of bang cd. Why not use well known reliable sites like HMV, play or Amazon.

I encountered some BangCD problems lately.

I had ordered CD's at BangCD for some months without any problems until now.
On March 4th I ordered Valleys of Neptune by Jimi Hendrix.
The order was confirmed a couple of seconds later and was payed for by credit-card also.
At this moment CD is no longer in their catalogue and I never received my copy. They also did not respond to several mails I send them about it.

I also found out that another web-shop called CrazyTiger.net has the same problems. At first I noticed that they had the same cataloque with the same prices as BangCD and after ordering an older Jamie Cullum CD, BangCD !! emailed me about two months later, after several mails I send to CrazyTiger, to let me know they couldn't deliver the CD I ordered and I could ask for a refund!!!!
I ordered the mentioned CD in Nov. 2009. They send me a mail confirming the refund on Jan. 27th but I still didn't receive any money.
I just checked out CrazyTiger and this is what's on their site for days now: Crazy Tiger is temporarily unavailable due to a system upgrade. We apologize for any inconvenience.

I can imagine something can go wrong sometimes.
Also at CDWow, CDBaby and Amazon it has happened that I didn't receive an ordered CD I already payed for.
But after sending an email they always aswered quickly and have solved the problem by sending a new one, or giving me a refund.

But emailing several times about problems and not getting an answer frightens me.
Be wise and don't order CD's at those web-sites until they have solved their problems.

I demanded a refund which they eventually gave me but the cd got delivered a few days after the refund. They did ask me to return it if it arrived but I didn't bother!! They messed me around for ages so why would I return it lol
