Question about upgrading my orange pay as you go

Hi,
Just wondering about upgrading, will my address book get sent over to the new sim card or will I have to do it myself by typing numbers in?

Thanks

I don't know about that but your phone might accept your old sim card, double check though.

The usual technique is to copy the address book from your old phone to your new sim. you can do this 100 numbers at a time.

But your address book certainly wont be copied by default.

If you buy your new phone in the Orange store they can do all this for you. They transferred my phone numbers and text messages across.

If it's only the phone you're upgrading then you just use the old sim. You do not recieve a new sim if you stay with the same operator.

Unless you are on Orange

Do both phones have Bluetooth?

On my T68i i was able to "Send All" contacts via Bluetooth to my T630 - that might be an option.

If that option isn't in your menus, and you have a mac (OSX 10.2) use ISync to move the contacts to your laptop and then to your new phone.

If you have a PC floAt's Mobile Agent should do the trick, but i find it a touch buggy
