Rice Pudding - in a slow cooker?
I have lost the book that came with my slow cooker, but I am sure that I saw in it (before losing it) a recipe for rice pudding (not that it would be a complicated recipe in terms of ingredients) - I have a bag of flaked pudding rice in the cupboard, and was thinking of giving it a shot, but have no idea of how long to put it on for, and at what temp?
Can anyone advise please? |

Must admit, I didn't even think of having a Google which is all the more embarrassing given that I've been playing with the street view thing for the last couple of days

I am a very big fan of my slow cooker, but how can you possibly even THINK of making a rice pud in there?
There'd be no skin on it! Sacrilege!!

What is flaked rice? I would have thought it requires little cooking time if it's ground up like semolina.
I put rice pudding in the bottom oven of the raybuurn overnight, and it's done a treat in the morning.... i.e. about 7 hours later. |

It looks like cornflakes - we used to eat it in the sixties!
