Big Brother's Big Revenge.

Another rumour from today's Sun. I rather like this idea.

''EVICTED Big Brother contestants will return to the house 24 hours later — for revenge via a video link.

Losers kicked out on a Friday night will return on Saturday’s live show to nominate the next person they want booted out.

They will pick a victim after watching footage of housemates bitching about them.

The rest of the housemates then nominate in the usual way and viewers have the final say.....'

Thr rest is here, The Sun, 30/04/04.

Quote 'A show insider said: “Producers are anxious to create more conflict in the house and this is one idea to shake things up. '

And how exactly will this create conflict in the house the idiot doing all the stirring will have gone and in front of his/her victim the remaining HMs will say things like 'I always knew so and so was a b*****d and no one liked them anyway.' Whilst to all the other HMs they will agree that what was said was entirely true about the victims toilet habits/personal hygiene/inability to put a golf ball in the right place during the tasks.

This is either another attempt to revive what the producers fear is a dinosaur on its last legs or a load of old b*l*s**t.

And just who exactly are these 'insiders' and what is their motivation for leaking the latest news from BB HQ, I always thought letting the cat out of the bag was a hanging offence or at least immediate dismissal. This is all C4 or €ndemol's attempts to get us prepared.

All these leaks are likely to be the last thing that is going to happen be it the identity of the HMs to the latest desperate attempt to create conflict/lurve interest/erm lets be honest get people voting for even the minutest event at premium rates.

One thing I do fear is all BB5 programmes being bombarded with reminders of how to vote or not to forget to vote like some US tele evangilist or lousy shopping channel.

If this is true, then it's good for two reasons

1, they're doing away with those awful live saturday night tasks
2, they're not going ahead with that stupid Head of House idea

I hope they get rid of the stupid pointless tasks. If they keep them please make them worth watching.

Agree it wouldn't create any conflict unless they return to the house. If they want to give evicted housemates a say, it could be done within the current format by bringing them back to make the final nominations.

I agree boring, I couldn't stand to see the HoH format ruin our BB

I honestly don't know if this is a good idea or bad...but it will be worth finding out...

The sad part is that this idea wasn't kept top secret....

On first reading it sounds like a great idea, however what worries me is that once it has happened once, it might make the housemates too nicey nicey to each other to try to avoid being nominated, by evicted housemates.

Let's be honest - it's a crap idea. The problem everyone agrees with BB4 was the boring ones were kept in, while the interesting housemates who cause conflict are kicked out. Surely evicted housemates would nominate the housemates that caused conflict for themselves!

Let's look at how it might have worked last year:
Anouska - Jon Tickle
Justine - Jon Tickle
Sissy - Tania
Federico / Jon - Cameron
Tania - not sure - possibly Gos
Gos - Ray
Lisa - Cameron

just because they might get put up for eviction does not mean the public will vote them out, look how long jon lasted lasted last year, and paul in series 2

it sounds like the evicted HM will nominate 1 housemate, and the remaining Hm's will nominate the other

it will probably be a 1 off thing anyway, alot of the rumours last year turned out to be one off things linked witht he task, it was rumoured there would be a pub in the house for instance...which was a reward romm theme one week

I agree, this will be counter-productive, as it will make the housemates guarded as to what the say, for fear of being nominated by that week's evictee.

Nicey nicey HM's makes for boring BB
