I am kind of sab by it. I am actually one of the rare people, who enjoyed all her performances!
I knew it would be a girl going first though, no matter what. A lot of the not so talented guys are gonna stick around because of the teen votes, but they end up leaving around top 8 top 7, where most of the good singers will still be around.

I'm happy with the bottom 3 and that Lacey has gone home to be honest.

She was alright but forgettable. Tim should go next, just boring.

Can't believe Paige was in the bottom 3. She sang awesomely this week. Also very disappointed Lacey was knocked out as she reminded me of Pat Benatar, looks-wise, a lot. That said, I couldn't connect either of their faces to their names before this week, so...

Very very happy with this week's result. I didn't get Lacey at all, and her papery voice was not my thing. Also it annoyed me that people kept calling her 'folksy'. I love folk music and she is not it.

Tim definitely deserved to be bottom 3 as well.

Paige, in fairness was probably middle-of-the-pack this week and her bottom 3 spot would have been better filled by Andrew or Katie BUT given the how rubbish she was in the semi-finals it's undoubtedly fair that she's there on that account.

Really happy Tim was bottom 3, that version of Under my thumb was awful, completely inappropriate and he seemed to have no idea what on earth he was singing about, if you want to give a song like that an ironic happy, reggae vibe you've got to be a far better vocalist and performer then he is to sell it, and it seems to prove he doesn't have quite the unstoppable tween/teen vote I thought he did. And thankfully I don't have to hear Lacey's awful little girl singing voice on my TV again. Now, how do I vote for David to win

Even though Lacey wasn't the worst, she wasn't too good and one of the less likely to have a fanbase, so I am not surprised.
So far, I have only watched the first half of the show (bar a few youtubes), and all I can say is ... it was soooooooo dull.. Any of them could have gone, I wouldn't care :sleep:

I'm not surprised at all by that result. I quite liked Lacey as a person though but in terms of talent it's fair that she was one of the first to go.

To be fair to all of them though, Rolling Stones is quite a hard theme to be given in week 1. They're all quite young so many of them are probably not that familiar with The Rolling Stones. Perhaps the "songs from the year you were born" theme would have been better.

I'm also quite happy Simon said: "One of the bottom 3 is worth saving".

It obviously wasn't Lacey because it was unanimous. And Tim would be a nightmare. He obviously meant Paige

I didn't get Lacey either although I thought she had fabulous eyes. I didn't like all the back story religious claptrap either

I agree. He's liked Paige from the start but she's been disappointing in all but one of the live shows so far. She's becoming this year's Lil.

It was the right three IMO.

Especially Tim, I wouldn't say no to putting him in the bottom any week (oh, I say!).

It was either him or Lacey who should go, so this way I can at least have Tim to ogle for at least one more week. Bikini Boy.

I thought Lacey had a great voice and would have made a great country singer

But she looked like a granny. Her style was awful and it so didn't suit the quirky genre she was trying for.

She came across as inauthentic to me. Yep she should have done country. Its much more her thing

It was a shame to see her go particularly as Tim and Andrew were so so so much worse

Ridiculous result. At least two of the guys were much worse.

I wonder whether AI is going the way of so many UK shows, where viewers tend not to like the good looking young women.

TBH I think Lacey, Paige, Katie, Aaron, Andrew or Tim could have gone and nobody would have batted an eyelid much.

Sad to see Lacey go, although she would never have won. Thought that this week Tim should have gone as he never should have made to Top 12 in the first place IMO. Still think that he has not got many more weeks in him and may be next week will be his turn.

Shame Lacey has gone. One of the few who doesnt look a total freak.

To be honest, apart from maybe Crystal, Siobhan and Katie, last years contestants were all head and shoulders above this lot.
