It is surely going to be the worst theme ever...

Imagine Siobhan attempting 'Mmm Bop' or Casey trying 'Puppy Love'

Teen Idols ... ? well at least it's a new idea I guess, so many of the themes for all the reality singing shows seem to be coming around again and again.

But what exactly does it mean? Are they limited to songs that were hits for teenagers when the singers were that age, or could it include songs that come from later on in the careers of some who started young I wonder?

If it really is "teenie" songs what on earth are Lee or Chyrstal going to sing?

What does it mean? Do they have to sing songs by teenagers? Or do they sing a song by the singer/band they liked when they were teenagers? (although not sure if that would work seeing as half of them still are teenagers).

What a rubbish theme.

Surely Katie can't get it wrong in this week?

Aaron will still sing like he's 40.

Not really sure what the theme means, but I really don't want Crystal having to sing some Miley Cyrus or the like

Crystal might get away with Sk8er Boi - a hit for Avril Lavigne when she was a teen, about 8 years ago

Siobhan could sing No Air! Jordin's 20 now, but she wasn't when that was released, neither was Chris....and enough Kelly songs have been used this year!

Andrew would probably gravitate towards Baby One More Time....

Joss Stone for Katie and Taylor Swift for Didi or Lacey?

Will keep thinking, should be interesting!

Whilst I loved Puppy Love in it's day I don't particularly want to see big Mike doing an R&B version

I reckon it'll be modern teens after Stones week, hope so anyway. Not all teenage artists are heesy, and even if they were, the Idols' interpretations of their songs wouldn't have to be cheesy

I quite enjoyed AI disco week last year as most of them tried to change up the songs a bit and do something a bit different

Lets be honest "Teen Idol" can mean almost anythng, so will doubtless be interpreted as required to meet the skills of each singer

When I was young, older singers like Pat Boone were teen idols, Elvis was a teen idol, so were the Everley Brothers, etc. so the theme could mean anything.

Yeah.. MJ can also be considered teen idol.. Any news if there'll be a masterclass? Imagine Justin Bieber giving a masterclass.. eek
