Is any other FA viewer (and i know there are some of you out there!) getting bored with the storyline involving Brendan's struggle to accept his sexuality?

It doesn't seem to have been written as well as Todd's version over in Corrie and the acting by Brendan isn't particularly great either; meaning that the viewers are hardly likely to have sympathy with him like they may with Todd.

And as for his naive little pretty fiancee Melanie? Well that's just ridiculous. She's known him for all of 5 months, and she want's to marry a boy she can't have had a proper conversation with in the time they've known each other? They're never together, have nothing in common, and she wants to sign her life away to him at the age of 17/18?? Hardly likely.

It's not that bad, I've been watching it for a few years. Although some of the storylines were better then than they are now.

Too right I wish this storyline would just end, it's been going on for AGES! yesterdays episode was very good. The actress who plays Yasmin is just so funny.

Yasmin is played really well, the actress behind her must have such a fun time.

What was the last thing that happened to brendan? And les, denise and caleb for that matter?

Brendan and mel are planning the wedding and Les/Denise are just putting the 'fling' with caleb behind them, but Les does know about Brendan being gay, that's why he has arranged for them to go to spain for a quick holiday.

Melanie has had a lot of upheaval in her life in the past year and it is not unusual for someone in that position to latch onto someone who appears to offer them security and love.

I agree! If you don't watch a soap, don't bother going onto a topic about it insulting it!

What a bizarre post - please take that chip on your shoulder with you on the way out.

And to Bossyboots - yes I understand your point, but doesn't Melanie have that love of her life (Bradley)? And if she does need someody to latch onto - why hasn't this been explained?

Bradley and Melanie had split up and was also some distance away which would have added to her negative feelings. Maybe the script writers will expand on her deeper feelings later, especially if Brendan admits he is gay.

Sorry to have brought up this old topic yet again, but this time I'm quite fed up with with the storyline concerning Brendan. He's now vanished.

Where's he ran off to now?
