I'm not taking the pith I promise...
Can someone please tell me any tips for gettin all of the white stuff off an orange??
I bought some tangerines tonight at Tesco and i've been at them for over an hour and i've only managed to eat 3 cos o the pith - it's stuck fast to the fruit!!! Its bitter and I don't like it. Help? |

I can only think that they're not really ripe.
Maybe do as you would for a fruit salad...sharp knife, top'n'tail then slice down and around taking the skin plus the pith away. You're going to need a spoon or plenty of kitchen paper or even a bib to eat it though

Whoops. |
