Yes, Mommie Webster lashed out tonight and added some homemade blusher to little Rawsie's left cheek........................in what was positively one of the most poorly edited slap scenes in Soapland history. And Rawsie didn't look the least bit upset either. Okay, she gawked (no surprise there, we're used to that look) and then ran off. No tears to shed had she. Chesney, on the other hand, had plenty and played his sensitive scenes quite superbly. What a damned fine little actor he is. More of HIM please and let's say Amen to long overrun stage-school-mommie-from-Hell storyline once and for all.

I actually think that this Sally story line has been quite funny and it made me laugh as well today when Sally slapped her! I agree that Chesney is a really good actor for someone his age.

Yeah, I defnitely agree it has had its (often truly hilarious) moments, the "lah-lah-lahlah-lah-lah-lah-lahlah" scene which is certain to go down in Corrie history. But I think now, enough already. It was difficult enough trying to get used to the bizarre and dramatically sudden personality change in Sally without the entire thing choo-chooing on much further and going off the rails altogether.

I agree, I've been loving this storyline but I think tonight's scenes have finally knocked it on the head in time. As much fun as it's been there's only so long it could last.

I was amazed she let Kev drive up in his Ford Escort, I thought she'd be off hiring him a Jag or a Merc to keep up with the 'image'.

Lah-lah-lah-lah-lah scene will stay with me for a long time.

Sally's next project will see her attempt to turn Kevin into a lap dancer for cash

That has to have been the editing. I read an interview with Sally Whittaker in which she said did actually slap the actress who plays Rosie so that it would look right.

That storyline was good fun while it lasted, watching Sally going bonkers, but a line should be drawn under it now, its definately run its course, anymore and it gets very annoying. As yes, the slap was awful, Rawzie's head never moved. Chesney is, without doubt, one of the finest little actor's I've ever seen.
