Britney Spears is ready for the world to hear her new sound, which a source says will be "more energetic" than the last album.

A person familiar with the project tells X17online exclusively:

"Right after this year's Grammy Awards, Britney met with all of the producers for her next album to explain the vibe she's looking to capture. Brit, who is co-writing many of the songs, explained that she's looking to give the new album a vibe like the song Get Naked from Blackout."

Our source says that the pop princess, who we're told is "not only a hard worker, but an incredible mother," has recruited many of the same producers from her Blackout album like Bloodshy and Avant, Nate "Danja" Hills and Corte Ellis. According to the source, this new album "will be like Blackout times 100!"

X17online has learned that the album was set to be released this summer, but the project may now be pushed back. Our source says that very soon we'll be hearing some new Britney on the radio.

Can't wait! So many people didn't get to hear Blackout due to lack of publicity, it would be great if she can do something like that but better and really get it out there!

If true it's the BEST Britney news i've heard in a while.

I'm soo excited about her new album, can't wait for a release. I think 'Circus' was a great album to launch her comeback, but i think her next truly needs to be great. Not only the music, but the performances, promotion, music videos etc. Britney needs to cement her place as the new Queen of Pop and make sure she is truly back on top.

All she needs to do is have brilliant music, have her body in rockin' shape, work on her dancing and choreography to make it more complexed and creative AND actually promote the album worldwide with TV performances and interviews like she used to. OH YEH.... creative and innovative music videos that push boundaries, controversial and get people talkin'.

I'm truly hoping the best for Britney!

As much as I dislike Britney, Blackout was seriously under-appreciated.

Blackout was one of the best pop albums of the last decade, a better and more complete album than anything her peers have released, and if Britney was well enough to have properly promoted it its sales would have reflected that...so if this is true then this is best news I've heard.

I hope they manage to include some ballads along the lines of Unusual You...and this time I would prefer an extensive (not as extensive as the ITZ era but moreso than the the Circus era) promo tour instead of a concert tour.
