MP3 connection advice
threecheeses

Sorry if there are other threads (please direct me if there are)..had an MP3 player for some months, all downloads have been fine until today when I got the message :

Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

Any advice appreciated
Thanks

Plug the MP3 player to your PC. Go to Device Manager, find the player, right click and uninstall. Restart your PC and let it find the MP3 player again.

Try this and see if it works.

Thank you did all that but it couldn't find it again and MP3 kept saying 'disconnected' and wouldn't turn off!

Managed to turn if off eventually, held (slide) button 'off' for (what seemed) ages, it came back to life and then comp recognised it

Nearly came back to ask again when I couldn't get rid of the disconnected message, all well in the end.

At least I will know what to do next time.
Cheers.
