You give the impression that Katie is a blind fan deliberately ignoring Daniella's flaws but that's what you're doing to Gary

Firstly, Daniella is clearly more improved than Gary. From an objective AND subjective perspective. Her confidence has grown, her skating skills (contrary to what is said on a completely unreliable and inaccurate forum ) have improved and her performance skills have always been there.

Gary, on the other hand, lacks personality and charisma on the ice (despite being an actor ) despite having very good skating skills. But even they haven't improved much.

And Daniella has had far better scores than Gary overall so let's not start that debate

I think someone's just a little infatuated here Daniella's and Gary's skating skills are very close. And in a way, Gary has got it harder than Daniella. But in another, he has got it easier.

It's called Dancing On Ice which suggests performing. He doesn't have the skills. Hayley, Daniella and Kieron all do.

Although I do really admire Strictly Irish for trying so hard to defend someone...that most people on here slate. Good on you!

Yeah i like him too. I shamelessly watched Footballer's Wives (shut up ), The Bill and hope he gets a place in Eastenders at some point but it's clear he's the weakest performer.

I actually think the performing side is more important than the skating side. Obviously there has to be decent skating, but there needs to be a balance. Gary's skating severely outweighs his performing - and i don't find his skating even that great.

For me, Gary just doesn't make me go "WOW" and never has did. I would never want to watch his routines again, and certainly wouldn't make me pick up the phone and vote for him. I think his skating is good...but his performance is really not there...maybe that of a stick skating round, not selling the performance at all.

Can't wait for the show. Alexandra performing.

What's happened that there a music act on tonight??

Nothing they probably booked her because the songs amazing and she's a great live performer.

They prob need to bulk up the results show or the main show with something.

I guess it depends where she is singing.

It wont take long for Pip to call out 2 safe names in the results show and its still 30 mins long. the mains show is 1h and 10 mins long for 4 performances.

She's performing on the results show I think.

Matt & Frankie are skating at the start of the results show (confirmed on Matt's Twitter), alongside Alexandra Burke I think (Matt is talking about a surprise so seems logical).

She's performing only All Night Long as far as we know. Unless she does The Silence as well.

Jayne and Chris think he's the strongest skater left! They said so.

@Stube Well obviously as a Daniella fan you are going to think performance is more important yet it's DANCING on ICE, not performing on ice. Sure, they should perform but it's 50/50. They have to be able to skate and Daniella is so under par.

Under par? How is she? She's proved time and time again she is very strong alone on the ice.

Her performance/dancing is 8 out of 10
Her skating is probably 7.

Gary's performing/dancing is 2 out of 10
His skating is probably 9.

DOI has always been 50/50 performance and skating. If a contestant is seriously lacking in one of these then they are not a deserving winner. Hayley, Kieron and Daniella have all shown us they can perform, tonight they have to prove to us they can skate. Gary we know can skate but has yet to show he can perform. If he doesn't manage that by tonight then he doesn't deserve to be in the final IMO, and the same goes if any of them don't manage to skate well (though personally I think they all will).

I largely agree. Though I would say that Kieron has proven he can skate well already - he's done lots of independent skating in his routines in recent weeks.

Kieron has just tweeted that the order has changed and he and Brianne are dancing 4th (last), so does that mean Gary will now be 2nd if the keep the boy/girl/boy/girl rota? Surely Hayley must be dancing first for the first time...
