Let me tell you a few things Louise Berridge came back to eastenders when John Yorke was still there then he left and she became exec producer full time in july 2002 the show was doing ok up untill abot december that year in went down hill really fast in 2003 and Louise Berridge then came out and said she was running out of ideas! so if she does not know what else to do she should go and I don't think it will be long before she is. Mal Young was furious about the show not getting the bafta and about how many ex stars have said the show was getting awful.

I know for a fact that many in the Beeb are unhappy with the current state of the show. Behind the scenes, their not getting a Bafta nom wan't really that much of a surprise. It's likely that Berridge will only stay in her job until someone better is found to replace her. But they're not stupid at the Corp. They do watch their own output and realise the show is struggling. The bringing back of old faces is really just a sign of how panicked they all are.

I think they may regret bringing back one old face if the stories in the Sunday People are true http://www.people.co.uk/tm_objectid=...name_page.html

I have no idea why the hell I'm bothering to answer this but, defend myself against what? I've given my opinion on why I think the current poor state of EE is down to the Exec Producer, and you've called me a loser. I've already asked you twice to give me your reasons for thinking its still so great and you've called me a loser. Still I fail to see what I've got to defend myself against. (BTW just a hint, but no metaphors in this post either)

Well someone's got to tell you

Metaphor
1. A figure of speech in which a word or phrase that ordinarily designates one thing is used to designate another, thus making an implicit comparison, as in "a sea of troubles" or "All the world's a stage" (Shakespeare).

2. One thing conceived as representing another; a symbol: "Hollywood has always been an irresistible, prefabricated metaphor for the crass, the materialistic, the shallow, and the craven" (Neal Gabler).

Stop feeding the troll everyone. This is meant to be a discussion about the appalling state of EE.

And yes, re: Sunday People, what a Dirty Dirty Den that man is. Still, whatever floats your boat. And I guessing he's a single man, so he's free to do what he likes. Far more interesting tho is Grantham's off-guard comments regarding his fellow castmates. Meow, he really doesn't like Kat the Dog does he?

Troll on ignore mode

According to the paper LG is married to his 'loyal wife'

Still the Katty remarks about the cast are hilarious
