What do we think?

Out of interest, I had my trusty stopwatch in hand:

Hayley - 39 seconds (all motion)
Gary - 36 seconds (all motion)
Danniella - 28 seconds (9 seconds with no footwork at all though)
Kieron - 30 seconds (4 seconds on the floor)

How about Kierons time kneeling on the floor....did you discount that like Daniellas?

I think we get it....you love Hayley but don't love Danniella.

He was moving. But that time constituted four seconds.

My opinions towards Hayley and Danniella are irrelevant, as I did not state any opinions in that post. I timed those solos, Id id not make it up. If Hayley had stood still at the start I would have mentioned that too. She didn't.

Hayley was easily the best tonight, none of the others were that good imo.

Of course she could also have included all the time spent solo skating while also lifting Brianne...

They all seemed shorter than that to me - I must count too slowly!

The length of time is neither here nor there. Daniella could have skated all her spot and it still would have been the weakest one as she doesn't have very good skating skills.

Hayley outclassed everyone.

I wasnt particularly blown away by any of them...

They were all underwhelming. Hayley delivered hers the best.

None were as good as I was hoping they'd be.

They were all very underwhelming tonight, the skating skills just arent there to the degree they have been in previous series.

I thought Hayley proved she's more than capable of skating on her own.

She was like a ballerina on ice.

I thought all of the solo skating routines were poor.

Daniella's solo skate was ridiculous, even when she eventually started moving she did nothing.

I think they were all quite basic. Kieron and Hayley did the best, Gary's was ok I guess and Daniella's was just her standing around while on skates.

Pathetic. But she was really worried about it so we should have voted for her

No, it's a combination of an ice dancing contest and a popularity contest because both the judge's scores and the public vote contribute to the outcome.

Two were clearly really strong and two were clearly blagging their way through it.

Gary is very over rated on his skating. The solo showed just how poor he was. Rember we are talking semi final level here. He nearly fell at least twice and it was a very simple routine with both his feet on the ice most of the time. Once he was on one foot he could barely stay steady
