Hayley & Dan for me.
I was hoping it would be Kieron, but although his programme was 'different', he didn't skate it as smoothly as Hayley did hers.

I'd say Hayley had the best solo skate, but Kieron's was best overall, and remember that he's also skating when doing a lift.
He was absurdly under-marked this week.

I thought he was under-marked but not absurdly so. Gary's skating, even when lifting Maria, was a lot smoother and more self-assured than Kieron's. He had a hesitant, jerky quality this week that I really wish wasn't there.
Had Kieron been a little less awkward then I think his marks would have been higher. Still undermarked though, because the panel seem to dislike him somehow.
Kieron and Brianne were my favourites... but they were all good!
I still think the non-skating guys have a harder time than the girls because they do the lifting and 'throwing' around, whereas people like Hayley get lifted and thrown by their partners!

If you look at the high numbers of rib injuries and muscle strains that the girls get, you could argue that the guys have the easier job.
I'm not sure which is harder or easier, if either is. The girls go through a lot more pain and suffering to do those "lifts and throws" than the guys do.
For me, Kieron and Brianne...
Kieron is what DOI is all about...like Kyran Bracken, he came from nothing...no dancing, no skating experience and unlike Kyran Bracken...no fitness or muscles!
He skates with great verve and speed and now..confidence and partnering ability which has made me vote for the first time this season...he would be a very worthy winner

And guys get away with less dancing. Only Ray Quinn and Duncan James were male finalist who could really dance.

None of the performances were particularly outstanding although everyone has improved considerably throughout the series. I did like all of the routines but there have been many better performances in previous years.

Keiron and Brianne deserved higher marks than they got
Gary was overmarked but Jason's comments will see him safe
Hayley was about 1 point too high - she was good but I don't think deserved a 6 for that routine - especially as she was first up... the judges had nowhere to go if one of the others had played a blinder.
Danniella was disappointing all round - a little wobbly and insipid in the solo skate but lovely with Matt - but she proved that she CAN skate on her own
