banana / pineapple fritters from the chinese resturant...Yay or nay?

I used to love them, but since I entered my 20's I feel they are a bit too sickly.

Pineapple fritter - yummy. Especially from the Chinese! I always ate those in the sixties.

Don't like the pineapple one but love the banana. I had one in a "posh" Indian restaurant last month and it was gorgeous. The batter was so light and crispy.

Im the opposite!!! Love the pineapple ones but not so keen on the banananana ones.

The syrup... *drools*
