Daniella would probably have been better suited to Strictly where performance carries more weight and you're not wobbling about on the dance surface all the time.

Jason has a point about Gary, but he should reserve his views for when he's judging. This is now coming across as a bit of a vendetta.

And he was wrong, Daniella wasn't competition for Hayley. Apart from last week, her scores have persistently been lower than Hayley's and she's not massively popular either because she found herself in the dance-off 3 times. It would have taken a miracle for her to win.

It's worth remembering that judges scores count for nothing in the final. It's the public that decide.

I think Hayley might have a bit more competition than Jason expects.

(Hopefully we won't have to suffer through a Gary Bolero though, that would be too much to bear... )

But that's typical Jason. I agree, he should keep his personal views to himself or if he really has to express them, do so in the show. A professional () judge bad mouthing people on twitter is absolutely pathetic and it does seem like a vendetta.

But no doubt the judges will bang on about who the public should vote for and Jason will slag off Gary as per usual. I do hope Hayley wins though as she's been the best throughout the competition.

Why do people think its wrong for Jason to make personal comment but okay for them to do it?”

Surely he can voice an opinion without the drama and repetition (boring, boring, boring) - he's like a child in the playground taunting another kid - knowing there's nothing his target can do about it.

Jason seems to take it as a personal insult that Gary is a bland performer. His reactions to things can be rather disturbing.

Gary is a very good technical skater. I would take the word of an Olympic Champion over "your hero" any day.

The result was interesting

The 3 skating judges voted for Gary
The 2 performance judges voted for Danniella.

It seems that they rated Gary's routine and delivery higher than Danniella - and rightly so based on what was done in the required element "solo spot".Gary packed a lot into his 30 seconds - Danniella didn't (but she did what she did very prettily.......)

That said - from Nicky's comment - it could have gone either way last night - and it was great that it was a close decision given that it was the semi final

What's Craig Levein got to do with this.

Well that says it all doesn't it?

Here's something interesting - the comment Jason made about Gary has mysteriously disappeared. Instead, there's a new comment, which is not as cutting. Has he been told to delete the original comment, I wonder?

Jason should go back to sucking lemons.

I agree. I don't find Gary a bore but even if I did I wouldn't say so - especially if I were being paid a fortune to be a professional judge.

Bull shite i say. Gary was the best skater and on the skate off it would of been a travisty if he had of gone out.

I was going to put a post on the same thing and picked it up on the night. The two dancers went for Daniella and the skating judges went for Gary. If you watch the speed on the ice and the skating skills Gary is superior to all in the competition. This week his performance improved and if he can improve his performance further in the final i can see him winning.

Jason thinks Gary's skating is boring so he calls him a bore in the context of that skating... how is that a "personal dig"

Also.. do you not get the irony of having a go at someone for personal digs when you've just called them "that turd"

Jason could make his point without resorting to mock exasperation and repeating himself over and over and over. e.g. "Dull, dull, dull."

He's an attention seeking drama queen - as for 'the turd' comment by Daewos, is that any worse than his faecal matter critique of Sharron?

Negativity attracts more of the same: if you keep giving it out you will get it back.

Jason brings it on himself.

It is possible he also brings out the worst in others, but that's what happens around nastiness and spite. Along with using expessions such as 'faecal matter' to describe a performance.
