I'm currently helping to promote GiffGaff, a new phone network that tries to offer the best prices around.

But I was just wondering, what do you look for in a network specificially? Do you look for internet use? Or more phone call focused?

Unlimited internet.....Not too bothered about minutes and texts 4 or 5 hundred of each is plenty for me. I use the phone for other things mainly.

I have strong views on giffgaff (see my previous posts in earlier threads on the subject).
They just did not live up to their pre-launch plans. They promised so much but delivered a pricing structure which, for all but the light user, is more expensive than other networks. Something that has been admitted in their blog.

I've been trialling them out in one of my old phones, the only thing i've found them useful is the ability to call 0800 numbers for free (which costs on all other networks). This came in handy for when i had to phone the Microsoft Product Activation to activate Windows Vista Business on my laptop! Thats the only use its had to me so far!

i think this is a fantastic idea, a real co-operative style mobile network, and i will be ordering a sim, it's worth it for the frewe data 'til may alone

I like unlimited internet, unlimited texts and a smallish (200) amount of minutes for a small fee per month with a free handset. Free technicalsupport/customer service is a must too.

The downside is that it's from O2 and the O2 network isn't very good for 3G coverage. I like the idea of a cooperative, but I'm dubious about it being offered by a corporate giant.
