Krez(?) knew what she was talking about - and if only Natalia could have got to grips with English she would have made a brilliant judge - at least she knew what she was talking about, unlike her successors.

Yes, I totally agree that Jason is every adjective that you have written in paragraph two. Jason is just a very nasty, bald little man who does not give constructive critiscism but just puts people down and trys to make them feel really bad about themselves. (unless of course they are one of his favourites, like Daniella has been this year).

Jason needs to think back to when he came out about going bald and having the hair that he had got left covering his bald patches cut off! It was on this morning and Fern and Philip were very sympathetic and kind to him. What a pity that he cannot find it in himself to be a little kinder to some of the celebs instead of being so insulting and personal to some of them like he is! You would think that he would realise just how nervous some of them are.

What I do find amusing though is when the likes of Danny and Gary laugh at him when he is being personal, which makes Jason even more angry, just like last night when he called Gary so boring! Good for Gary, for laughing in his face!

Replace Emma with Michael Ball. He talked more sense & made a bigger impact in 1 show than she has done all series.

I think they only need 1 'performance only' judge so Jason can be replaced with a skater - Steven Cousins would be my choice & he is also a good bit of eye candy too!!

You mean Natalia Bestemianova who along with her partner Andrei Bukin, was for years the only real competition to Torvill and Dean?

"Natalia" is a European, World and Olympic Ice Dancing champion who has actually won more major titles than T&D and of course she knows just a little bit about skating.

Her English is actually quite good - but she found it difficult to get over what she wanted to say in the judges comments section where Holly was looking for soundbites - when she was interviewed on the weekday show she managed perfectly.

Michael isn't a has been or a wannabe - nor does he need DOI to showcase his talents - so there's not much chance of getting someone of his stature on the panel.

Agree, there is no need to have 5 Judges, Karen, Nicky and Robin are more than sufficient!

I`d swap Jason - even if it meant one of the telly tubbies being a judge instead!

I wouldn't be surprised if they were more articulate, less biased and better dressed than him. Let's get them onto the show.

By the way, I really like Hayley, I don't mind her winning at all, but even I can see that Jason becomes all constructive when talking to her, meanwhile he goes into a childish tantrum with the likes of Gary. At the moment, he seems intent to destroy her chances witht the public.

Basically get rid of these "performance judges" who "judge on performance" and disregard the skating.

Exactly the same as he was with Sharron and last year with Roxanne.

He`s too blind to see that he`s the biggest pillock on the show !

As I said I have to be careful how I voice my opinion in relationship to him, but he would be well advised to apply some of his less flattering terminology to himself.

This year his behaviour to Sharron was a disgrace, and poor Roxy unfortunately had to deal with two very biased judges (e.g. you don't do it for me, only blond pretty people do it for me "Ruthie":yawn::sleep.

I'd reduce the panel to three. I'd definitely keep Robin and any two of Karen, Nicky or Jason. Despite the fact that Jason has annoyed immensely me this year, I think that he and Karen balance each other quite well: Karen as the nice judge, Jason as the nasty judge and Robin as the voice of reason in between those two points of view. It doesn't work with five judges because Jason is asked for his comments so much out of proportion to all the other judges but if number of judges is reduced and they all get to comment after each performance, then it could work.

If they keep the panel at five judges:

» I'd replace Emma with Anita Harris, who is both an accomplished skater and a good dancer/singer/actress/all-round-performer. Nothing against Bonnie or Suzanne but I wouldn't go the former contestant route, because I don't think it worked well on Strictly with Alesha. As an alternative to Anita Harris, now that she's an ITV person, Camilla Dallerup could also be good; she'll definitely understand the performance side and about good lines and things like that, plus as a former Strictly pro, she knows what it's like to be a contestant.

It would need to be someone who doesn't mind saying the things everyone else is too nice to say but it's possible to say those things without being offensive, unlike Jason. Someone more like Strictly's Craig Revel Horwood: he's very critical but he does at least make a point of trying to finish his comments with something positive whenever he can.

I personally think this is unprofessional, but suspect that ITV love it. Increased controversy/column inches & even more importantly they know very well that his tirade against Kieron & Gary will increase their revenue for phone votes as more people will be inclined to vote for them just to hack Jason off. Also, a 'shock' victory is always good for these shows. Suzanne's victory seemed to get a lot more column inches in comparison to Ray when he won last year.

Either stick to three judgers Robin, Karen and Nicky or if five are required bring back Natalia and possibly her partner Andrei - let a skating show be judged by skaters.

Against popular opinion, I'd get shot of Nicky, he has been so inconsistant with his marking and the comments of not enough speed on the ice:yawn:

I'd replace Emma with John Barrowman. Ok, I know he's been a bit overexposed (possibly in more ways than one ) on tv lately, but....he has judging experience, can dance and perform, can skate (to some extent at least), knows what it's like to be a contestant and most importantly....he is loud enough to drown out Jason!!
As an added bonus, people seem to either love or hate him, so we could have some lovely arguments here.

Plus Craig is very supportive off stage of the competitors so former Strictly contestants say, whereas Jason so they say has nothing to do with them after the show.

Yep agree with you on John Barrowman, he'd be a good addition. Emma is about as useful as Alesha is to Strictly. I also like the choice of personality they've chosen for Lloyd Webber's Somewhere over the Rainbow - Christian in Eastenders. He'd be good.
