It's very early, but the week will fly in (see what I did there?) and Sunday's final will be here before we know it. Anyone have any details (from twitter or any other source) for the final?

I have only one:

Hayley will be skating 'Jai Ho' (as her favorite performance) again.

Thats really good news that Hayley will be skating "Jai Ho" again. She was truly amazing and I would have been really surprised had she not done that dance! Heres hoping that she will get all 6s right across the board again!

Kieron has confirmed he and Brianne are doing 'Ever Fallen In Love' again in the final (the punk routine). Good choice I think, especially as it means we get to see the ace costume and hair again! It should also be a good routine to show how he's improved since the first time they did it.

I'm so pleased with Kieron's and Hayley's repeated routines- 2 of my favourites of the whole series- I've no doubt that kieron's will be even better than the first time round and I hope hayley can be just as good- if not even better with jai Ho

I wonder which routine Gary will do - maybe the olympic one?

Not that fussed about Kieron's actually. I'll enjoy Hayley's.

I really hope Gary does What About Now - That was hot! And we're missing a slow, romantic one from the group.

Purple hair is the Good Vibrations one isn't it? The 80s week one. (I'm a freak for knowing! )
I liked Pulp Fiction too. And I'm Yours and Easy Like A Sunday Morning. Dying to know what he's doing!

The only ones I didn't like of his were Olympics and Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick. Hate!

Good vibrations- that's the one!! thanks for that it was bugging me lol! I do think he's very underrated- trouble is I love all 3 of them now for different reasons, I wish they could all win!
Hopefully he'll tell us what he's doing on twitter tonight or tomorrow like the others have!

That's my favourite of his routines.....although it would have been good to see the pink raincoat again

Gary just tweeted this:

So me and maria gave birth to a beautiful baby today namedly bolero ! Its a bit bruised(it was on the ice!) but I'm proud of our creationx

If he showed a bit more of This fun side on the ice he'd be more popular!

I just saw that and replied

And he's in the final so not doing too badly in the popularity stakes, considering the attitude of people on here towards him.

Some people may argue by default...

Oh yeah, by default he was pulled up from last place in the quarters. Right, gaz, keep dreaming...

Kieron and Gary are most definitely not there by default. The public had big chances to get rid of them at their worst and they didn't.

I put last week down to people thinking he was safe.

That's great, but not really surprising.
She got perfect marks for that routine, and loved doing it - why would she not repeat it?

I only hope she gets a perfect score again.

It was down to the judges to get rid of them once the public had put them in the bottom two surely ?

Glad Kieron is doing the Ever Fallen in Love routine. He had a little stumble in that didn't he?

If he can skate it clean it could be a real noticeable improvement & get good scores and a big impact with viewers. This happened in the final last year with Donal who had a noticeable improvement to his everybody hurts routine and then beat Jess in the vote to do Bolero.

Yes but like I said, I believe he was in the bottom two by the public assuming he was safe. he got a lot of support the week before. Same with Kieron. They are not there by default.

Slightly off topic, but can someone remind me of the scoring system in the final?

They all get to fly and do their routine again - and then the public vote? Or the judges vote the weakest off?

Or do they all get to do Bolero as well?

They all fly and then do their favourite routine again. For both of these skates the judges score them - but it is 'for information only' as they don't count towards the final result.

Once they have skated the audience votes ... and then when the lines are closed shortly afterwards the couple with the lowest public vote (ie 3rd place) leaves the competition. Only the top two get to do Bolero.

If it's the same as last year - the votes are put back to zero and voting commences again to find the winner based on Bolero

Sounds like they're not going to be doing the original What About Now routine then. There's the wrist ripper thing in that. Or maybe that's one of the modified moves.

They are doing What About Now. Must be taking out the wrist wripper.

Or they are doing it with the other hand, if this is possible.
