Oh maybe! I hope so, I don't want them to change it too much.

No, that would be a shame. I think itwas quite a lovely routine (if my memory serves me right).

It's definitely the right routine to do, and it's been quite a while so there is room for lots of improvement as well (which IMO is crucial for final week).

What a shame.

I hate that wrist ripper move. Even the name of it sets my teeth on edge (as someone who had a damaged wrist for years I know how painful it is).

Am I the only person that feels a little let down by Hayley's choice of routine? I mean I loved it when she did it but its soo predictably safe going for a routine that already scored perfect marks. I would prefer to see her try and get perfect marks again with a different routine to show she's improved in her skating from earlier in the series. I didn't like it when Ray did the same last year either.

But hey it's their favourite routines so I guess its up to them. I just wonder would it still have been their favourites if they hadn't received full marks.

TBH most of the finalists opt for the routine that they got highest marks for. Suzanne got her highest score for Music so she performed it again. Same goes for other finalists. Remember Jessica last year? Got her highest mark for Mercy, so she opted to perform it again.

After all, they're doing all that they can do dance Bolero and go on to win, so they decide to perform not only their fave routine, but also their best.

Maybe but I suspect they are thinking it is what their supporters would want them to do.

Neither Gary nor Kieron are redoing their best-marked routines though. Gary is doing 'What About Now', which got 22.5 first time round, and Kieron is doing 'Ever Fallen in Love', which only got 19.5.

(Oddly, I just noticed they were both week 7 routines!)

I do understand why Hayley is doing Jai Ho though - it's kind of what was expected of her. I think it would have been braver to choose something else though.

Oh I didn't realise that. I hope it turns out alright.

I was shocked at Kieron's choice of performance tbh. I thought he would've gone with the Pink Panther routine, one of his best IMO.

I'm not much of a Gary fan, but what was highest scored routine? IMO 'What about Now' was his best this series.

I agree with what you've said about Hayley, I loved Jai Ho! so I'm pleased to be seeing it again, but I think I would've liked to have seen her perform Endless Love again, maybe see if she up her score this time? Even so, Jai Ho! is still a strong routine, and should serve her well in the final.

I think Kieron's choice is just because he wants to go out and enjoy the final, and y'know - screw the judges if they don't like it. It's a big fan favourite, he and Brianne loved doing it, and he gets a great costume and mad hair, so I suspect he'll just do his best, and have a ball, and won't be terribly surprised or bothered if he doesn't get some massive score for it.

Gary's highest score was last week, oddly. I don't think it was his best performance though, so he was right not to pick it.

Well he couldn't do that one, could he. Or would they be allowed to do a routine from the semis. Does anyone know the rules.

I think both boys have good chances on improving and showing the improvement. Hayley can do this to a lesser degree (if she gets 30 again, she might have improved as the expectations will be higher).

I think it's probably fair to say that they all chose the routines they enjoyed most.

What did Kieron get for Pink Panther (I loved that routine as well).

Eh... I don't see why he wouldn't be allowed...

But why would he? Bottom two, too recent, etc. What About Now is the obvious and best choice. I'm really looking forward to it.

So did I! It only got 21 though, so it didn't go down that much better with the judges really. I think Kieron is probably reconciled by now to the fact that they're never going to score him that highly whatever routine he does, to be honest.

I suspect they aren't allowed to do a semi-final routine just to avoid repeating last week too much.

Just out of interest, what has been Kieron's highest score to date? I'm usually quite good with remembering scores, but this year they haven't really stood out for me.

I thought there was a rule that they couldn't do a performance from the semis. I can completely understand that he wouldn't want to do it. His "what about no" routine was much nicer anyway IMO obviously.

I think you are right, and to be fair, the punk one was my first "oi the boy can really perform" glimpse of Kieron.

Scores don't matter anyway in the final.

Remember Ruthie gave Donal a 6 and Jason gave him a 3.

I'd just like to wish all the Celebs and their Pro partners good luck for this Sunday. They've provided us with 12 weeks of fabulous entertainment and I totally admire them all for what they have achieved. I'm just sorry that they've had to run the gauntlet of so much public abuse during their appearance on the show and hope that they'll remember the good comments more than the bad

You deserved it. There seems to be a nice atmosphere on here today (maybe I'm just too high on coffeine), everyone thinking that the routines will be nice. No "this is so unfair" discussions, quite a lot of people making nice comments about all the contestants. What is going on.

It's actually really nice and refreshing. We only have one week left, and I will be forumless again.
