That would have been my second choice, but I'm in a good mood, and I'll be the first to congratulate you when your dreams come true.

The WINNER... of DANCING ON ICE... 2009... IS!

...

It's Gary and Maria!

(This is so going to happen. Not delusion at all. )

That would be a miracle, I think Ray would not be happy about that one.

Of course it is, no doubt about that <turns around and motions the men in the white coats in Strictly's direction>.

To be fair, you never know what will happen. I think the outcome is less certain than some people think.

I'm sane, I swear. Kind of. I did think it was 2009, after all.

I'm going to be thinking about whether or not Gary got to skate Bolero all through my rehearsal on Sunday. That is so bad.

I don't know how you can do that (I don't have firm favourite, but last year I would have called in sick and snuggled up with my poster of Donal on the sofa). How are you goind to vote for him?

I can't vote, I live in Ireland.

I'm pretty much no use to Gary at all. Except for defending his honour like a crazy person here.

I have to go to this rehearsal, it's for something on Good Friday. When they said the day and time I was like "You cannot be serious!"

Ok I'm feeling in a good mood, and I like the fact that you have some insight into your own insanity. I'll give Gary one vote on Sunday (for you). How about that?

Really?? Thank you!

Even if he falls flat on his face or something?

Then I would do it anyway, because I would feel sorry for him (I'm rather weird like that; and I could see Jason gloating about it, so .....).

I promise I give Gary one vote, regardless of performance.

Ahhh you're so nice! Thanks.

Probably best that I can't vote, I'd go a bit mad. Same with Donal last year.

Suzanne had a choice though, both Music and Eternal flame got 27.5. Music was choosen in the final I'd imagine cos they could add the most to it and also it was a contrast with the slow song for the flying. Hayley seems to be doing slow and romantic for the final as well. I think she'll get 30 for it regardless though really, they'll have to say she's improved between it and the final...

Of course we are ladidadidadi <mad smilie >. Now where is my cat, I won't be able to take over the world otherwise.

I can see that. I did vote like mad for Donal last year (my offer has something to do with the fact that you are a fellow donut).

Would that be a chicken bone or brontosaurus rex bone.

I haven't made my mind up, if I will vote on Sunday (apart from my one promised vote - which I will do now). If Hayley blows my socks off, she will get my vote as well, same goes for Kieron. Just hope that Jason does not go overboard with his criticism

I think another reason for choosing Music was that it was the first routine in weeks to get her at the top of the leaderboard. Personally I do think it was her best routine, although Eternal Flame is lovely in a completely different way. What was great was how they retooled it, getting rid of the jumps, adding the headbanger twist etc. No one retooled their final routines at all in series 4 which made it a bit dull. I felt like no thought had gone into it.

Whether to change parts of the routine for the final seems to be down quite a bit to the couple themselves, the same as alot of the cheorography for their bolero. The final seems to be the one time that they are given a bit of leeway, T&D step back a bit. Matt and Suzanne always struck me as quite an inventive twosome.

As a fellow Gary supporter I'll send a few votes on your behalf as you have defended him so well on here.

That was his big 'breakthrough' routine. It was also really popular with the public so understabdable choice really. It's still my fave DOI routine.

From Hayley: "I saw Gary's routine yesterday and he actually does look like Superman. They put a red cape on him and everything."

So it sounds like Gary's routine is going to be Superman-themed possibly then...
