I've been on a fan forum and someone says theyve been dropped by Roc Nation because Sweet 7 flopped. Is it true? They're not even Sugababes anyway.

Looks like it could be true otherwise they would not leave this message on their forums / add their own announcement http://forum.sugababes.com/t/446.aspx

If they have been dropped it will have happened before the album was released as time frames don't match.

People on here are so ill informed of the music industry and how it works.

Heidi and Amelle had quit. So the album wouldn't have been released as there would have been no band.

Management did what they had to do to save money in the long run.

well the decision they took seems to have backfired. And how would there have been no band...their management seems to be able to replace members at the drop of a button so i doubt new members would have been that hard to find.

Well, the album is now out of the top 30 so if they aren't dropped now they will be soon. I used to care when rumours were around but now I'll be glad to see the back of them.

What's the for?

Heidi and Amelle quit. The management and the label wanted this album out so made a business decision. It is quite simple really. Had they not have done this the band would have ended last October.

If they had replaced Amelle and Heidi with two newbies then you really think they would have even managed to chart in the top 40? Keisha would have been called every name under the sun by the press as it would have been branded that she forced them out. She wouldn't have been able to escape the bully rumours as they were bad enough to begin with!!!

Must say that is the stupiest suggestion I have read on here!

They are having a hard enough time as it is. If Heidi and Amelle had been replaced with only Keisha left standing then the band would probably be in a worser state than they are now!! No way would they have got the support because everyone would be saying what a cow Keisha was!

I can only assume that poster was taking the piss!

The Sugababes current deal will all depend on how well it performs in the 12 European countries it has been released in.

People forget they sell around Europe. And the OP is known for going OTT and posting false info on here as it is. Mainly about Dannii.

Their last two singles only charted in Ireland, and not very high either. Most of their sales are in the UK. They are toast.

About A Girl was number 4 in Spain and number 2 in Poland! I know that much and wiki backs it up.

So your info is wrong.

The was because i knew you or one your other cronies would attack a one lined post of mine

And i didn't say that it would have been a good idea, i'm saying that it could have happened and i do agree it never would have worked, it would have been worse. However...the management should have just let it go...their decision to carry on without Keisha has backfired that is my opinion. You don't have to agree!!!

No. Roc Nation is a live concert promoter (that also produces the music it promotes), and it makes all it's money from "renting" the girls out and ticket sale commissions. Sugababes are doing extremely well in this, so that's that, end of.

Stop trolling, it's annoying.

Nancy_Drew posts a lot of bullshit about Sugababes and Dannii Minogue in this forum. She outright lies, and likely has multiple accounts to do it with.
