Well I'm OK until I sit down and as they say 'there are far worse off than me'.
Yes, I am sure we will have an entertaining final, I can't wait.

According to Sharron, Jason doesn't take the time to talk to the contestants. How could he possibly know what they're like?

Thank you, doctor says 2 weeks, everyone else says about 6 weeks
Yes, indeed, good luck to all 3 of them and as someone has already said, may the best woman win

Are you watching everything standing up.

Who knows, maybe Jason fancies both of them and hasn't been successful for different reasons:.

Well he did write on Twitter that Gary is a good looking bloke but he (Jason) doesn't "judge with his crotch." Could have fooled me the week Danny did Rocky.

I can only sit down on a dining chair, if I lie down or sit on a sofa it is painful but the painkillers do help a little. It's best to keep moving.

Well does he think that someone else on the panel does.

Of course Jason was completely unbiased in that week (Rocky week), he was just speechless and dribbling because the quality of the skating was superb (sorry Danny fans, I'm not having a dig at him, honest); Jason's crotch had nothing to do with his enjoyment of the routine.

Entirely plausible:

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/dancingon...ason-Gardiner/

I suspect Jason maybe isn't coping very well with having a younger, better-looking gay guy intruding on his territory.

With Gary, I think it's mostly just bitterness at Daniella going. Basically Jason is having a big strop...

I don't have any problem with Jason making any remarks he wants about the skating or performance (even if I think he's totally wrong ), but this essentially seems to be just a gratuitous personal insult. Still, I think both Gary and Kieron can probably just treat it with the contempt it deserves. Hopefully it will inspire them to do even better in the final.

It's really quite sad. Jason must feel terribly insecure about himself if he feels the need to put others down by making such silly comments. It really feels a bit like a toddler stamping its feet when it doesn't get what it wants.

Do you think he wanted to be the only "gay in the village ahem DOI". Sorry to good an opportunity to not mention it.

I can well believe that Jason could turn nasty if he isn't successful in his pursuit of certain people. Well it's sorted then, once again I proved my psychological abilities.

About the bold bit, Jason seems to be incapable of keeping it all to criticism about performance.

PS: I think he still fancies Gary as well.

That would account for the "fights" between him and Nicky then

Jason goes too far and only chooses to be constructive about those he likes - obviously being impartial isn't that big on judges requirements.

Well, that and the fact that Jason has slagged off Nicky in the press/on This Morning more than once and that, according to Robin and Nicky on the latest Dancing on Ice Friday, Jason does his best to prevent Nicky from speaking. Jason seems to think it's all about him when it should be about the contestants.

The only pilllock is Jason and my Giod what a pillock he is. He really is a nasty piece of work - he is so very unprofessional. Fancy calling contestants names like that.

About Emma ...

`"She has done a smashing job," he said. "She has brought a real freshness to the panel and a bit of glamour which we desperately needed."

okay ....... if you say so Jason -

I think Jason has too big and ego, and is too indulged by the DOI producers, for him to think his comments do anything other than influence viewers in the way his comments suggest when taken at face value.

It's obvious Jason will love a "performer" like Hayley and someone (again like Hayley) who gets right many of the trivial performance details he thinks are of supreme importance.

In addition, he seems to be running a bit of a grudge against the "skating judges", for instance calling them hypocrites not long ago. The more he champions Hayley and disses the other contestants, the more he'll feel vindicated when she wins.

Um, how do Jason's comments do anything to make it seem less one-sided?

Quote:
“Last year's final did see lower ratings in comparison to previous years & my impression also a reduction in media coverage. I dunno about phone votes because they only publish the % figures and not actual numbers but I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if these were down also.”

This year ought to have even lower numbers.

There was a lot more that was potentially interesting about last year's final than this year's, imo, even though Ray was virtually certain to win.

Hayley will probably do some good stuff, but we've already seen "Jai Ho". The two guys will do something as forgettable as everything else they've done this year.

Well, one way to try to tell the DOI producers that Jason isn't as valuable as they think would be to vote against his favourite. I'm sure he expects her win will be seen as vindication for his nastiness about the other two.

And after reading this:

I do think the producers need some telling.

Yes and I fear that will be happening. I'm just really disgusted with him that he firstly is derogative to two contestants (regardless of what he thinks of them) and secondly, that his "opinion" will initiate an anti-favourite vote. For that I feel sorry for the three of them.

In both cases his behaviour is unacceptable. In certain ways, I feel sorry for all of them. However, I would be tempted to vote for both Kieron and Gary, if his abuse on Sunday will be personal, biased and very obvious.

You're right about Jai Ho - she doesn't have anywhere to go with it - it was only a few weeks ago and so any increased skating ability won't help her refine the performance at all. She can only match her 30 or get a lower score - which is unlikely but quite possible if she doesn't pull off the spin.

On the other hand you have Kieron and Gary who can revisit a skate from much earlier in the series and incorporate some different choreography - showing off how much they have improved.

Um I don't think it's Kieron and Gary that are the pillocks here but a certain Jason. This guy has to go, please don't let him be on the panel next year.

Jason really know how to go OTT but basically Kieron & Garry are not good and I have to agree with that. Even Garys so called good skating is not upto much as we saw with his solo

I would have preferred to have Dani in the final as on a good night she can challange Hayley.

Short of a miracle Garry & Kieron are going to be no challange
