Jasons Gardiner's behaviour is totally unacceptable. The man is a ****, a pillock and extremely rude. How very dare he post on Twitter derogatory personal comments about contestants. He is meant to be a "judge" and therefore unbiased.

Unfortunately he commands no respect when he behaves like a spoilt brat who chucks his toys out of the pram and throws hissy fits and tantrums when he doesn't get his own way.

He deserves to be sacked for unprofessional conduct but he won't be because ITV have some twisted notion that we enjoy seeing this man humiliate people. Well ITV let me tell you something Jason Gardiner is BORING BORING BORING.

This year ought to have even lower numbers.

There was a lot more that was potentially interesting about last year's final than this year's, imo, even though Ray was virtually certain to win.

Hayley will probably do some good stuff, but we've already seen "Jai Ho". The two guys will do something as forgettable as everything else they've done this year.”

Sorry if I didn't explain properly in my earlier post. Of course Jason's rant isn't going to improve Kieron & Gary's performances. ITV know they have a one sided final so they need to drum up publicity by other means. They probably hope that Jason's tirade will get some people to tune in to see what he says to Kieron & Gary.

They will also be hoping that it increases phone votes by people wanting to hack Jason off. Otherwise the phone vote numbers could suffer from Hayley supporters who think she has it in the bag and equally from Gary or Kieron supporters who feel that Hayley is too far ahead so not worth voting for them. Perhaps if votes are close this could even result in a shock victory which would increase media coverage of the final. A Hayley victory is going to be a 'so what' story forgotton about by Monday lunchtime whereas a victory for either of the boys will result in more coverage and dicussions on 'did the right person win'? etc.

I will be amazed though if the ratings aren't down on last year. I suspect ITV are prepared for it too but are trying for a damage limitation exercise.

I have to admit to not usually minding Jason, as he does a lot of the time hit the nail on the head. But when he goes over the top with his comments he does get annoying, and it is cringeworthy.

Jason can't control the final outcome, as can none of the judges, so I think he is doing some dummy spitting. I still don't mind him though, and he needs to remember on the night he can't control who is voted for to win, and that all said and done his favourite Hayley will 'probably' win on her own merits anyway. I want Kieron to win, but say good luck to all three, they made the final, and whatever happens now, they have that to remember

I always thought Daniella was his favourite and that`s why he`s peeved because Gary and Kieron are in the final instead of her.

I didn't phrase that very well did I. Sorry, meant out of the finalists she appears to be his favourite.

Last year wasn't much different. Ray was the only possible winner and Jessica didn't have a routine that got near to him. Donal was worse at skating than Gary or Kieron. He had a bit more story but it didn't go any where much. Ray didn't have a great routine but what he had was miles ahead of what anyone else could do. Hayley can't skate as well as Ray but she's got a better routine than he had offered to him and she's as far ahead without needing anything even better. They seemed confused what they are doing this year - the only competitor story that they started to build was Daniella and they seem to have sacrificed her rather than let her do her strongest pre props week routine which contrasts a bit with Hayley's, got nearest on marks and offers the voters a choice of styles. They also probably needed Daniella to compete on the flying. as it is they have a clear winner unless its decided by accident and two how on earth could he win contestants.

But Daniella wouldn't have been able to do her prop week routine anyway - props aren't allowed in the final. There was also the fairly major issue that Daniella didn't actually seem to be that popular with the public. She was in three recent skate offs, and one of those was in a week where she had been 2nd on the scoreboard out of 6. In the semi-final, she was in exactly the same position as Kieron after the judges had their say, but when it came to it, he was then able to pull in the public votes and be saved that way, while she failed to do so.

I liked Daniella, but I think the idea that she was likely to present a big threat to Hayley was always over-exaggerated.

I don't really think Jason is smart enough for his insult against Gary and Kieron to be part of some grand plan by ITV. He was a big Daniella supporter, and he just seems to be bitter that she's gone and is lashing out. Don't think there's much more to it than that.

I just find the whole Jason, pantomine nasty, ridiculous. No doubt all of his comments are scripted and I doubt if you could get away with calling an actor BORING without a slap. Perhaps one day someone will react and shut him up. I think it is all part of the show as it grabs headlines and gets publicity for Dancing on Ice. All the shows have a nasty, X Factor, Simon........Strictly Come Dancing, Craig!! We had the Arlene and Aleisha saga, the new judge Baby Spice on Dancing on Ice!! Both Baby Spice and Aleisha are useless as judges. Sometimes these reality talent shows remind me of the old Saturday Morning Wrestling!!! Some people believed that was real too.

Many a true word spoken in jest and it is his own fault if people come to that conclusion. His behaviour is like some spiteful wasp and is normally displayed when the object of your desire has given you the brush off.

I think Jason should go back to the playpen and suck his dummy and reflect on his name-calling. Maybe ITV can change his nappy for him - because he really is full of sh**.

I hope, on Sunday, Gary and Keiron will give him a stinging slap which he so richly deserves and then place him on the naughty step or stand him in the corner with a Dunces hat on his bald head.

Pot, kettle and black spring to mind!

Craig RH can be harsh but he is not usually as stupid as Jason.

Actually to be fair, Craig can be harsh about their performance, but when he is interviewed in ITT he is always very nice about the personality of the contestants. He also takes criticism of himself on the chin, and has a nice sense of humour. Someone else also said that he was very supportive behind the scenes, and I think that's how he got attacked by Jan's husband when he went over to make amendments with her (hearsay of course).

Jason on the other hand
. I wouldn't even mind too much if he criticised them for their performance, but then kept stumm about their personality. At the moment, he is really coming across as having some kind of major personality disorder himself.

That's true about Craig, he wrote about it in his autobiography.

Which I read I love him

Me too (the loving bit), I also find him rather yummy. Why don't they have Craig instead of Jason?

I'd like to see head judge Robin change places with Jason. This way Robin would command more attention and Jason less and Jason would be too far removed from Nicky to behave in the rude and childish manner described by Robin and Nicky in DOI Friday.

It begs the question though, why Robin doesn't do anything about it. After all, he is the head judge.

It's always been my impression that head judge simply means advising on the rules where there is confusion e.g. Gary and Maria's fall last Saturday. Holly always turns to Robin to ask what we should be looking for but that's about the extent of it.

Other than that 'head judge' seems to be just a figure of speech.

Just look at head judge Len on SCD - if ever there was an agent provocateur it's him.

Well I'm afraid you might be right. It's a shame though. I don't enjoy these set up arguments <sigh>. To be fair, Jason even started arguing with Robin over skating matters, so why do I expect him to listen to Robin over "manner" matters. (you never know Robin might have approached him behind the scenes, and was brushed off).

Surely if Jason is a judge in a competition he should be unbiased & keep his opinions to himself. I don't think anyone can predict the outcome of the final think Suzanne Shaw a few years ago, some people can really up their game in a pressure situation & some people crumble with nerves.

All these name calling and even worst as they are coming from a judge of the show is unacceptable, vulgar, & must not go unpunished.

Either they suspend Jason, or give him an ultimatum, or take him off the panel & give him a lesser role behind the scene whilst the current series is still on just to humiliate him & hopefully he resigns eventually.

The producers are to be blamed on this too as they keep schtum it seems with regards to Jason's behaviour on & off the show....about time they do something as Jason is getting out of hand every year & feels he gets away with it.
