I have always wondered if Tony Gubba's commentary is only heard by the TV viewing audience, or is it broadcast as well to the studio audience as it happens. Anyone any idea ?

I think the people in the studio can hear. I sometimes think the skaters react to what he's saying!

They did a feature about him, I think on DOI Friday, and from the comments everyone made, they definitely all hear him.

Yes it is broadcasted in the studio just like the audience hear the judges and presenters.
