Humax rides out the blackouts
Some 8 disconnects of the mains in the last three hours ..
about 1 second each..wilst localising of flashover cable.. Everywhere home electrical entertainment fails.. Obviously my PSU irons out any hiccups for the PCs.. The plasma fails each time and the hand touch lamps although OFF.. restore to LEVEL ONE brightness..Strange that ![]() The Humax is on Series record for three soaps during that period and .. On playback not a hint of a single second missing ![]() I call that a refreshing tribute to some design excellence wihtin the box. |

We're in the same area... problem in Flackwell Heath, I understand.
The only appliance we had a prob with was the PC, which insisted on rebooting each time (until I powered it down for the evening). Humax HDR and Sony TV didn't so much as flicker, even the BT Home Hub kept going ! |
