Some 8 disconnects of the mains in the last three hours ..
about 1 second each..wilst localising of flashover cable..
Everywhere home electrical entertainment fails..
Obviously my PSU irons out any hiccups for the PCs..
The plasma fails each time and the hand touch lamps although OFF..
restore to LEVEL ONE brightness..Strange that
The Humax is on Series record for three soaps during that period and ..
On playback not a hint of a single second missing
I call that a refreshing tribute to some design excellence wihtin the box.

In low power sby the box will cope with up to about 20 sec of power loss. For power loss greater than this the box won't record it's schedule anymore until it's manually booted. A power cut with the box fully on is OK.

We're in the same area... problem in Flackwell Heath, I understand.
The only appliance we had a prob with was the PC, which insisted on rebooting each time (until I powered it down for the evening).
Humax HDR and Sony TV didn't so much as flicker, even the BT Home Hub kept going !
