I emailed JL about this TV at the beginning of the week and they said they will have some in stock next week.

They also said the Sony trade in deal is around untill July.
JL have them back in stock online .. still 649.95 with trade in

They never said there price was a special offer so I wasn't expecting that.

Always wondered why sony didnt put a on off switch on these tvs ...mine every now again switches off comes straight back on... i asume this is because of the updates but itll do it at random times.. unless there is a fault ?..why cant they make a simple tv ?

Mechanical ON/OFF switches fail quite frequently, so it's a reliability issue - plus it adds a goodly amount to the manufacturing costs of the set.

Other issues of course is that it doesn't receive the OTA updates if it's mechanically turned off.

Like it or not, ON/OFF switches are almost exclusively a thing of the distant past.
