Who wants to work for him anyway? Any contestant that goes on that show have insecurity issues. Why do they feel the need to want to work for Alan Sugar? I have nothing against the bloke, he's a great role model but the way the show presents itself is that the contestants feel they are nothing without winning the job. Joanna was a great example of this and i'm glad AS gave her advice, as did the interviewers. Stella flew through those interviews because she had no bullshit to touch her. I don't mind Chris or Stella winning. In fact I don't really care as i'm never gonna know them in my life. I watch the show then forget about it.

The thing about The Apprentice is that The Baron has made the show his own, even if it isn't his show, so to speak.
I honestly believe that if The Baron was replaced, the show would decline & end up being canned. |

The problem with LS is his business 'empire' doesn't have any real attraction to it and putting these people through these trials only to have them end up selling advertising for doctor's waiting rooms just seems pointless.
Plus people have figured out his likes and dislikes, especially the whole 'remind him of a younger version of himself' thing. Get Branson in there, who can actually offer a desirable job in his empire. Refresh the show. Come on BBC. His empire is tiny and all he does is sell his name to people - lets list the failed Virgin businesses!!! Plus in business he is rather unpleasent with a reputation for not being great to work with. |
