Good I always said he should never have been brought back in the first place, whilst we're sacking people and people are quitting, lets go the whole hog, have a big clearout, Grantham, Berridge, Johnson, the current writers, Sonia, Martin, lets get Phil Redmond in and his first job can be to create a massive disaster on the Square and lets start afresh. He's good at that lol

Excellent! Replace him with a log. Who would notice the difference?
And spend his £200,000 per year salary on some new writers instead.

LOL! Brilliant Will! I'd certainly start to watch it then, knowing how great Phil can be. Heck, it can't be any worse and there's a big Brookie following been left wanting since its demise it's sure to boost the ratings.

If he has gone, for what ever reasons, I can't see it doing EE any harm in the long run. He's looked completely bored and uninterested in the bits I've seen. Here's a wild and crazy idea, how about, instead of paying old stars mega bucks to return, investing in some decent new talent, writers and actors, and letting them have a chance. EE is looking extremely stale at the moment and some freshness is long overdue.

it's all going pear shaped and I'm loving every moment of it.
Remember all the noise the media and the Beeb did when he first came back ? It was like the event of the century. What a bunch of tossers.

Please! I did use the words 'decent new talent', which is not a description I'd ever use of those two!

Not at all, there are thousands of decent actors of all ranges/ages out there, it's just a matter of finding them, and then providing decent scripts for them to work with.

the way EE is now, no decent actor in their right mind would audition for it
as it would damage their reputation.
It's like a vicious snake eating its own tail.
I wonder what the final nail in the camel's back will be.

If they sack the script writers and LB and find some good actors then EE might get some more viewers.

might, as they might get even worse writers/producers/storyliners.
they need to look for another production team in Australia or NZ where they have the expertise.
